Do we have to draft another RB early next year?
Is it too early to call Conner injury prone?

It's not too early.
Just like it's not too early to call someone a bust.
Until they prove otherwise, they are what they are.How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?Comment

I think we probably need to draft a RB because I don't think it's worth keeping Conner after next season.Comment

I am not as interested in what we call him as I am in wondering what the long-term effects are. Will he come back and run as hard? Will he be as fast? Will he be gun-shy? So many after affects of an injury, it isn't always just about healing up.Comment

Conner's injury history would certainly make for a terrible high dollar signing. Luckily, as has been stated.. i believe he realizes that and will sign for a very reasonable deal. The FO made drafting high character guys a priority in recent years...and i think that allows us to extend Conner whereas other RBs with unrealistic expectations would have left for bigger deals with inferior organizations.Comment
