Two Things to Fix Going Forward

Captain Obvious here, but this team has shown a continued problem with WR's dropping balls and ball security generally. These almost cost the game today and have cost us others. Time to get it right. The Washington fumble was particularly bad. You could see it coming a mile away.

Enjoy the win for now, but better strongly emphasize catching the ball and securing it in practice from this point forward

Our special teams remain a weak area. You all see it. To many penalties, punter cant bang it and zip in the return game. Some changes there got to be addressed.

It is almost to the point now I expect someone to fumble, every tackle I am looking for the ball to pop out. Guys on offense are pressing they are trying to make every play into a big one because the opportunities have been so scarce.

Moncrief must have shook hands with every other WR on the team on his way out of the building.

Not pressing as much as carelessness, IMO. It can be addressed and improved upon through practice.

While he was running, I was screaming at the TV to hold on to the ball. He just wasn't protecting it well enough. You'd think with all the fumbles and strips, the receivers would be protecting it with their life.

I get scared anytime someone is tackled from behind in the open field.

Or even the most basic of things- switching the ball to your outside hand.

I watched JuJu arms moving was violently when he came across that short cross and up the sideline.
I'm sure other teams are picking up these kind of things on tape.

as mentioned, the whole ball security issue needs to be addressed and quickly

This is truth. Did you watch Dallas game last night? Instead of tackling, they were in scrums for the ball.

                            I think this is true.

Can't really play traditional D anymore.

Almost have to go for turnovers when every 2nd or 3rd possession gets the Joe Flacco PI special to extend a failing drive.

Tackling is a lost art form these days.

I watched the Bama LSU game and guys aren’t wrapping up. Everyone is trying to block someone or tackle the football.

LSU’s RB ran thru 5 Bama defenders and sealed the win because they all went for the ball.

Also see a lot of guys with the ball in the wrong hand. Not sure if it’s not emphasized or guys just get lazy.
