MR’s QBR when passing to JuJu is 31 and 3 of his 4 INT’s have been targets to JuJu.

MR’s QBR with everyone else is 56.

Might be a good idea to avoid JuJu if he is covers by Ramsey all day.

Our offense has always worked best when the 2nd and 3rd WR’s exploit their mismatches.

Hopefully Johnson and Washington can show up this week.

Yep. Having the young QB avoid throwing at the elite CB seems like a good plan.

Those ratings offer hope and indicate an upside to him IMO.

Saw on NFL.com that Washington had a PFF rating over 90 despite only 4 catches for 69 yards. 3 of his 4 catches were extremely challenging and he must have also gained separation throughout the game in order to score above 90. I'm not normally a fan of PFF scores but I think that a 90 for a WR probably indicates a strong game.

We talk about a QB having the 'it' factor. What is 'it'?

Having watched Rudolph vs some other young QBs my thought is 'it' refers to the mental approach that "I'm gonna make this throw because I want something good to happen" .... vs "I'm not gonna make this throw because I don't want something bad to happen."

It's the old risk of loss theory that is very innate to human nature. The great QBs have learned to overcome this.

North, this "it" thing you speak of, ...I'm not sure of how to describe "IT" but yours is the closest I've seen. And I think with some more seasoning, MR can get there to have "IT" by the end of the year.

I’m not really into the PFF stuff. I have no idea how they tally it up by each position.

Hopefully whatever he did last game he keeps doing it.

I also don't follow their stuff and only saw it because it was on my Steelers NFL.com feed. The one thing that I had noticed was that anytime Washington did make a catch, it seems to be a tough one. A ball that he had to work for as it was not thrown close to him.

Well, he made three highly contested catches and helped his quarterback immensely. I don't know how they come up with those ratings either but my eyes tell me that Washington was a beast on 3 out of 4 catches on balls that were thrown his way. He proved to MR that if its in his catch radius there is a good chance he's winning the battle for the ball.

I hope MR keeps feeding Washington the ball. I think those catches lifted his confidence and with that he can become a very good WR. Maybe even a great one.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

I'm starting to believe Washington isn't going to very good, much less great

it seems like every catch he makes, guys are draped all over him. that's not gonna work long term. but I'm also of the opinion the OC isn't very good at scheming people open, so maybe Washington can improve some

Ya know, there's always a wiseguy in the crowd. In the Colts game he had "it" but he may not have "it" in the Rams game and, then of course, "it" may not return at all during the rest of the season. But, for that one game, he had "it". Does that help?

C Batch isn't ready to crown or write off Rudolph. Says he has footwork to work on, and looking for second and third options.
On the safety play, there's a clip showing Johnson was clearing his man, but Rudolph didn't pull the trigger.
