Brown is so desperate because he’s sensing that he’ll never play again so he’ll go anywhere and say anything to get back in the league

I read his recent statement and the one thing I'm 100% sure of is that AB didn't write it.

        I don't think it's stupidity. It's willful blindness.

I don't think fans really care about character and legal issues as long as a player is a big part of getting wins.

Count me as one that won't cheer for a turd. People talk about the most respected franchises in the NFL. One way you get respect is by the character of the team they are fielding.

I'm getting to a point where I don't care about character as much as I use to. Maybe because the Steelers aren't really much different than any other franchise anymore.
I care more about production/salary cap.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

while i don't expect it, i also wouldn't be shocked if he's back in a steelers uniform... at a major discount.

For a while, I still liked Greg Lloyd after hearing that he stuck a gun in his son's mouth. Now that I have kids, I have a different opinion.

And we've all been cheering for Ben. Even if he didn't break the law, he was pretty clearly being a turd.

Ben's broken the law - and has a metal plate in his face to prove it. That doesn't even count the issues with the ladies back in the day..

Fans forgive after a few good plays.

Seem it happen time and time again.

Fans forgive. Humans generally forgive. When the person they're forgiving is truly remorseful.

I'm not sure that Brown will ever be truly remorseful. I'm not sure he's actually capable of it without profession help. I think he really has mental issues and needs help. There is simply no other explanation for his behavior over the past 14-ish months.

No thank you. It's only a matter of time before he manufactures in his warped brain the next slight against him and goes off the reservation

Taking a "discount" would eventually be seen as "the man taking an opportunity to oppress me"

Yeah ... I can't imagine us taking him back. We've got good, young talent gelling into a competent offense, without the headaches of trying to manage a delusional narcissist.

Brown isn’t coming back until he retires.

Given how Tomlin has done this year (with a group of coachable men) i highly doubt theyd bring a known cancer back to the team.

again, i'm not saying that i expect it... just saying that i wouldn't say 100% no way ever... (in other words, i wouldn't bet my left one on it)
