Here's four thinks I think would be helpful. I think they all fit under the broad category of "try to be intellectually honest":

- If you post something about what someone else said and you get called out for it being a dishonest interpretation (or misrepresentation), provide a link showing proof or modify your original post to admit that you were wrong about what they said.

- Be honest about what is an opinion vs. what is a fact. No prediction of a future outcome is a fact.

- When proof is shown that something you said was a fact (not an opinion) was incorrect, be big enough to say that you were wrong.

- Try to argue with what someone is actually saying instead of a strawman version of their argument.

Not sure what you're accusing me of here. Look at the time stamps of the edit. 10 minutes after the original post. And only Hawaiian's post was added in between

I think it was to add the 4th point, but it was a while ago.

I think I've been pretty transparent when I think the things you post are stupid, emotionally reactive, or intellectually dishonest.

Uh, after this thread basically closed, I had put the usual suspects back on ignore after they refused to want to come up with a solution.

And me thinking moncrief was going to be good? Your upset that I was thinking the best for my team??? Wizard , Leave it to you to start something up out the clear blue.

That’s why you and your crew are back on ignore. Only you would poke at someone for wanting a player to pan out on our team when he didn’t. That was the only thing I was wrong about.

Tomlin did not get a real extension. He got 1 year added to his contract. A real extension is normally 3 years unless you Pete Carroll’s age or something like that.

So keep wishing wizard. Your exams you why we don’t have any peace around here.

My predictions are not terrible by any means.

Lamar Jackson hasn’t proven anything. The chargers already exposed him last year and he’ll get re-exposed again in the playoffs. He can’t pass from the pocket.

Tomlin won’t be around much longer so that’s not even an issue with me.
