The Pittsburgh Steelers rookie was given a high honor after his dominant performance on Sunday Night Football.

The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6 by the score of 24-17, but the score didn’t really indicate just how badly the Steelers beat the Chargers on their home turf. One of the reasons for their win? None other than rookie inside linebacker Devin Bush.

Bush had 7 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery which he returned 9 yards for the touchdown.

Talk about a day.

To top off Bush’s tremendous week, he was recently named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week

He reminds me of Shazier I’m so many ways. He’s always near the ball.

He's been exceptional. Four fumble recoveries, 2 INTs and a TD in just 6 games is pretty impressive. I loved the move to go get him and it is already paying dividends. Watt, Bush and Fitzpatrick can be the cornerstones of the defense for the next 8-10 years.

At Latrobe he was taking some false steps n he did that in college too. That causes you if your good to get there but sometimes your making the tackle at say 5yds from los. As he has gotten reps here this has gotten much better. More of his plays now are at the los or for a 2 yd gain. That difference of reading correctly n not getting out of position is huge. Even as fast as he is if he is out of position it's not as good. That aspect has really improved. Some say the game slows but it is really learning better technique and of course some special God given talent.

Probably. Unless we can sign Bud at a reasonable number (which he's probably outplaying this season).

I think someone WILL sign Bud to a ridiculous contract. There's one born every minute..as the saying goes.
