Peter Carroll is sometimes touted as a guru at DB coaching; take a look at his record over the last 12 yrs. Drafted 21 DBs in the last 12 yrs, 11 of them are out of football. Two are all pro; Sherman and Thomas (Thomas was a 1st rd pick). SEA drafted four DBs in 2017, one not in football, 3 still on a roster.

In the same period, the Steelers drafted 21 DBs; 14 are out of football. The highest picks were 2 first rounders, Burns and Edmunds.

Edit: Carroll has only been with SEA since 2010, the other years were combination of Holmgren and Mora.

I"ve gone on record to say he's a grade "C" coach. He's early success was because of Cowher's players and coaches. What success hes' had is based on our organizational stability in assistant coaches & players; and not anything he's brought to the team. Because he's essentially brought nothing.

That's why when someone asked you what is the one thing Tomlin does well, you said , " he wins". "Wins" being the regular season. But the last 10 games, he's not even doing that. Because Tomlin doesn't do ANYTHING well. You can't name a facet of coaching that he does well; not even his expertise of secondary coaching. He's not even trusted to hire and fire assistant coaches. He's not a real coach and has never been a real coach..that's why he doesn't do any one thing well.

I love reading this type of garbage when we're 6-0.
