    I gotta admit

I kinda got a man crush on Rudolph.(not that there's anything wrong with that)
The guy says all the right things and acts like I want my young franchise qb to act.
Watching him celebrate with and congratulate the oline, makes me think he has 'it'.
He is humble as hell. Gives credit to his team mates.

Fwiw. Juju sure looks like he's alright not having huge numbers as long as we win.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

More importantly he and the rest of the offense played much better tonight.

Rudolph seems like a good guy.

He played well yesterday and it's great for him to get his first win on a very efficient night.

I'll feel better about him as a long term option at QB when he's able to consistently find open WRs past the line of scrimmage.

We're lucky that JuJu isn't becoming a problem. I don't know of many other WRs of his stature that wouldn't freak out about how much we're under using him.

AB would probably be throwing people out of windows if he was still on the team...although maybe that would coax our O into trying deep balls to WRs that are higher than #4 or #5 on the depth chart.

As Steelers fans we’re just not used to having a high character quarterback starting for us. It’s a nice change.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

Sadly, there is truth to this.

                Damn... that cold.

It’s true tho, I don’t see Mason calling teammates out or getting into trouble off the field.

You can tell he wants to go downfield too.

The OL really likes him too.

That is so wrong in so many ways. It sucks to use a little success on Mason's part as a dig at Ben.

Hard not to like Rudolph. He's a good guy learning on the job. I'm going to give Fichtner credit for catching the Bengals off guard with the wild cat formation too. Bengals never expected it and it kept things loosey goosey. Holes opened up for Conner too because of it.

Rudolph could definitely be the next super fan favorite in steeler nation. Gotta support all our baby steelers.

I saw on one of Mason's effective dump offs, maybe a 5 yard pass, Juju got open about 25 yards deep as one DB tried to cover 2 receivers.

"I" got frustrated. AB would have lost his mind. I think seeing the chaos AB caused helps Juju never want to be THAT guy.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

When Ben was young he actually was VERY humble. When called a leader he'd ALWAYS defer to more veteran players.

The difference today is Ben sees himself as that seasoned vet. He is not only a QB, he is the most veteran player, the only champion.

Ben absolutely SHOULD be the teams leader. He should not be as modest as Rudolph. He has earned a certain status.

                            ALL THAT SAID

Ben's problem is that he has not always handled his deserved leadership well. I do not think it comes naturally to him.

Calling out players as you note was poor leadership. But Ben was not THAT GUY when he was younger. Heck he was a model in owning losses.

It is WAY premature to compare the two. Ben was no different than Mason at this stage of his career.

                              I hope so.

But it's got to be frustrating to feel like you can make a difference in games but to not get targets. Especially since we seem to be able to scheme in a deep ball for Holten every game.

At some point, we should work really hard on getting JuJu some touches.
