    [QUOTE=fordfixer;775222]
    Steel-Maniac[Hey, all of us Steeler fans are facing a lot of disappointment (to say the least ) right now. There are a million things we are all upset about and with Ben hurt for who knows how long, leaves a ton of uncertainty in the air. We are hurting as a fan base. But I think the best thing we can do is just try and look at this as a transitional time for us. Rudolph showed real promise; brought an energy and moved the offense.

    I don't know what's going to happen over the next two to three weeks but I can feel change coming. I"m not exactly sure of all the areas we are going to experience change but change none the less. I think all of us feel this change and change brings uncomfortability. I'm uncomfortable as hell right now but I feel that our organization is like a cat; and will ultimately land on its feet.

    What I'm asking all of us to do is let's be kind to each other. We all want the same positive things for our team. Let's just be kind to each other through all of this. The language between some posters is getting bad. These are rough waters right now so let's all row together in the same direction. We all want the same thing for this team./QUOTE]

    how soon we reverted back to our old ways
    Agreed. But that's because much of the fan base has become fat and slovenly in their grooming habits - a critical mass of low IQ types. I'm sorry, but the blame for that has to fall squarely on Tomlin. He inherited the sophisticated fan base that Cowher built, and turned it into a fishmash and swill.

      I think we might be 0-3 because the teams we played are a combined 8-1. We have a lot of young skill position players on offense and 4 new guys (Bush, Barron, Nelson, and now Fitzpatrick) on the defense getting used to playing together. Its only week 3. There is a long way to go. Now we get to see how Mason and the receivers grows from this til next week. I think itll be interesting watching these young players grow into champions.

      When we make the playoffs Tomlin might get coach of the year.

        $$

        2 years ago we had bell,conner, AB, Martavious, JuJu as the 3rd receiver

        we've replaced them with conner, samuels, JuJu #1, Washington and DJ

          As usual, Ruthlinsberger was wrong like he usually is.

          Not going out and getting a legit O-line coach was a huge mistake.
          Could also be age in the Oline.

          A lot of pressure yesterday too.

          At least it was close. Got a feeling it won't be in lots of games this year. Can't be +3 too often.

          Good to be able to give up the emotional investment in this year though. No chance to do anything but watch the young guys develop.

            This is a good point. It's been a though start to the season and many of us were thinking 500 before the bye with Ben.
