What Experienced Backup QBs Are Available?

I'm fine rolling with Mason and Hodges.

But I know the team will likely want some vet to help out the youngsters.

Heck we are the team that went out and got Michael Vick when we were unsure of our backup QBs.

    Anyone out there?

Yes there is. I’m just hoping beyond hope they don’t make that call.

I don’t know if it’s possible but I would be totally cool if Landry Jones could get resigned.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

Landry Jones! He might be willing to put his XFL career on hold.

If Nick Foles is able to return before the trade deadline, maybe they trade Dobbs back to us at that point.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Forget Landry Jones. There’s language in his XFL contract that prohibits him.

Then that leaves Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch, and Tom Savage as likely possibilities.

Who really cares. We are more than screwed if it gets to that point.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

If you are seriously considering any of these guys, you might as well add Colin K to the list who's a way better QB than any of these options and it isn't close.

I was actually rooting for the Steelers to pick Paxton Lynch in the first round of the 2016 draft but they grabbed Artie Burns instead then Denver ended up taking Lynch with the very next pick. Lynch is still only 25 so maybe there’s still some untapped potential left in him.

Comparing him to AB or Bell or whomever your 'chaos and turmoil' is referring to is unfair imho.

Nothing wrong with Colin except the contempt that Trump and the media stirred up imho. It's kinda sad we live in a world where Colin can't get a job, but AB can.
