    Positives from the Game

I'm gonna change things up and focus on some positives I seen:

    • as everyone witnessed, Rudolph came in cold and the game wasn't too big for him. the playcalling helped him out with quick throws but Rudolph was decisive and accurate. the pick was on Moncrief, not Rudolph
    • Bush with a flash at picking up the fumble and almost scoring; as he continues to get game experience I expect to see more of these kinds of plays.
    • Nelson did an outstanding job mostly shutting down Metcalf on the outside; was in position and was able to look back to avoid PI calls, very nice game from him
    • Edmunds flashed with some good tackles (also a couple of missed tackles)
    • Steelers rediscovered their TE in this game; McDonald had some great grabs to keep the chains going forward
    • Boz seems to be returning to his 2017 self, which is a very good thing

Defense just needs to establish an identity; what do they want to be?

partially redeemed self with the fumble recovery...... easy to pick out the bad in a loss, I chose to focus on some positives.

        ?

that ball basically popped right into his hands?

i'm not giving him credit on that.. the run? yeah, he made a decent play there.

I'd rather he actually have a pass defended, something he was drafted for, then have a lucky bounce find its way in his hands. He had a terrible game

          Rudolph
          Boz
          Great decisions on challenges.
          Nice weather.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

            Nelson looked good
            Rudolph may have a future
There were no other positives except our only defender who can force a TO did(Watt)

Berry had some decent punts as well.

Tuitt, yes but with Butlers big nickel he's off the field a lot

Johnson was inserted on punt return instead of Switzer.

Switzer has been boring at PR

Well I’m not complaining about the Special Teams. That’s all I got for positives....

The pass rush was looking really good and i think our corners on the outside are playing well. Where we get beat is in the middle of the field and short, i think we need to bring our safties up so our linebackers dont have to cover so much open field. Let our corners play one on one on the outside if they get beat deep who cares, its better than getting marched up and down the field 8 yards at a time.

Not sure which is better, quick death or slow. Our DBs played one on one against the Pats and we know how that one ended up.
