For example, saying last summer that even though it was a small sample size of carries, I liked what I saw from Conner as a runner during his rookie year, but was uncomfortable relying on him to be our bellcow back starting with the first game of his 2nd season, since he caught no passes as a rookie and struggled in pass protection (which is a common trait among rookie RB's). This supposedly means in his mind that I hate James Conner and believe that he would never ever amount to anything more than a backup quality RB. Obviously.

        That's his schtick. Everyone knows it. It gets old real quick.
