For those defending Tomlin, what do you think will happen to this team if he weren't the HC?

Fewer wins per season and maybe Ben retiring.

Being a winning NFL coach is hard so firing a good one after one game for emotional reasons with no succession plan seems foolish.

in any event, Jordan retired for 2 years and the rockets won back-to-back... when Jordan came back they bulls 3-peated again.

like i said earlier, i imagine that minus Brady, the Steelers would have 4-5 SB during Ben's era... that's the most frustrating part... we'd be flirting with double-digit SB wins by now.

Tomlin should have been canned after the Tebow debacle. And if that didn't do it, getting humiliated against Jacksonville should have done it. And if those two games weren't enough, having a complete meltdown last year should have been the final straw. Instead, he got an extension.

Yes, it's call the Rooney's having no balls and holding onto their first hiring that met their Rooney Rule legacy.

Tomlin had his chances. He had some good years and some bad ones but at this point, I think it's time to move one. Maybe for the good of both Tomlin and the organization.
