Well, you don’t think their talented and that because Ben is so good, he’ll elevate them. That seems to be what your saying.never said I was down on them but you always seem to read things funny
I said they are question marks and that I thought the gushing over them on this site was a little over the top and perhaps premature. the eli Rogers as trade bait was especially so
I think it will be a successful group because #7 is throwing them the football just like it's always been
if Washington and Johnson re the real thing we will be set going forward, but right now they are unproven
But that can be said for the guy we just shipped out of here to Oakland. Everyone is going to be shocked when he doesn’t have the numbers he had with Ben.
I’m going to inform the whole wr corps. We won’t rest until we get you on our side Eddie.

I'll admit to being wrong on Eli. He did sign a deal as a FA before that fell through because of health, so I thought we could flip him to a team looking for a veteran slot WR for a return similar to what we got to Hawkins.wait and see for what? they only kept 5 guys which tells me all I need to know. people here were claiming eli Rogers was some kind of trade bait when there are eli Rogers in every camp around the league
keeping only 5 is proof that the WR corp was overvalued here. it's a good group but hardly a great one with all this quality depth talk that got thrown around
I never thought the Steelers had 5 all pros, but I thought they had a bunch of guys that were credible roster options. Spencer did get claimed. Still wouldn't shock me to see Holton added later as a discount version of Heyward Bey - primary value as a gunner but also some ability as a deep threat.Comment

although AB is a jerk, he's nevertheless a great WR.
assuming his feet are healed, look for AB to put up very good numbers with the Raiders.Comment

spencer was claimed...and rogers wont go unsigned for much longer.. this was/is a talented group of wrsI'll admit to being wrong on Eli. We KNOW our former 50 catch receiver 3 (Rogers) can't make this team.
We know despite losing Brown Switzer is LOWER in the depth chart.
We know Washington was the most consistent offensive player of the preseason
We know Ben LOVES the skill set Moncrief has and gets mad value out of big, fast receivers.
We know what Moncrief brings and I tell you he would thrive with Ben.
I have no doubt whatsoever that the only way Moncrief does not have a career year is if one of the pups has a Juju like emergence.
Most importantly, we know Colbert can pick receivers.
Can he miss? Sure. Did he miss on this many guys! No waysigpic
In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Colbert can find a WR's more times then not. We are loaded at WR's. If Moncrief is getting single coverage in this game, watch out.Comment

I ended up drafting Donte Moncrief in the 11th round (pick #122 overall) of my fantasy league this weekend.
I also took New England's WR Josh Gordon in the 8th round (pick #95 overall) as well. Should have extra importance in that offense now that he's fully reinstated and first round pick N'Keal Harry is on I.R.
But I'm not starting either of them this week.
Both of them could be breakout options for me as the season goes along (and I'm sure I'll need to use them plenty later on to get myself through some inevitable injuries and bye weeks), but I drafted more established reliable options in earlier rounds to start off the season.Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Young star WR Juju Smith-Schuster will likely be covered by young star CB Stephon Gilmore.
