If we'd stayed put, we could've picked the guy I had in my mock at #20 ... and maybe at #52. Not anymore.

But I'm very happy we got Bush and addressed our biggest need. Should have stayed with my next-to-last mock where I had us trading up to get Bush.

        How about this:

The last time I remember us talking about Smurfs, it was about a WR corps that went on to win a SB.

Since we picked up Barron I'm not sure if ILB is our biggest need. I'm thinking more towards EDGE or TE in that regard.

Anyways... Bush looks the part. Im fine with the pick. Would like to see WR and RB addressed. Those are also positions of need as well as positions where mid round guys can step in and have an immediate impact.

I’m OK with the pick too. His highlight video illustrates once again that speed kills. Just questioning the price.

I’d give the pick a B+. Speed is great but I’m still questioning his size. He’ll need to bulk up some and while not losing any quickness. I know they had to move up if they wanted him but I’d like to get a second round pick back somehow with their 8 remaining picks to grab a CB or a safety. A good WR can be had later.

Fashion sense: F. Looks like he got confused putting on the suit and just winged it.

Questioning his size is understandable. I recall that Shazier’s size was questioned too. Some people suggested switching him to safety. Said he’d get swallowed up trying to play ILB. Bush is no bigger than Shazier; if anything he’s shorter.

Shazier is 6’1”. Bush is 5’11”

Bush just needs a little more strength. Love his speed.

No he doesn't. He has the strength. You guys just don't get it.
