    would you? draft questions

Would it shock anyone if we drafted a running back in the first 2 rounds. I know it would be an unpopular pick. But hear me out, what if at 20, both Devins are gone, Hockenson, and no real stud DL is there. But we were offered to trade back by Oak 1.24+2.34 for our 20 +3.66+3.83. ( INDY and GB) might be a good options as well.

Question 1. Do you accept that trade back and who would you take:
    1.24
    2.34
    2.52
    4. 122
    5
    6
    6
    6
    7

    Question 2.

At 2.34 the best RB in the draft might still be available do you draft him and match him with Conner?

I love Conner, but he plays so hard it scares me that he is injured prone.

Think you find a good starting point to get your answer by seeing which RB’s Tomlin/ Colbert have come in contact with during their due dilligence in the drafting process.

Nothing every surprises me about the draft anymore. The Steelers drafted Mendenhall when they appeared to have a Parker that was in his prime.

Yeah, but Parker was a homerun hitter. They wanted a chain mover.

Rare trade back history in 1st. Casey Hampton last one I remember and I do recall Colbert saying you wouldn't want to drop the talent level for an extra pick. So what he was saying is like with the Hampton trade he would have to have the right situation. Say 4 guys are real close in talent so you could drop a few spots but still get the same talent. That means no large trade down. So could a 20 to 24 be possible IF about 4 or 5 guys all close in talent were there. Hampton trade was short drop like that as well iirc.

I could see this happening if 3 guys that we wanted were gone by the time we pick at #20.
