I could see Burfict forgetting where he is and laying out Brown in practice

Hopefully it is strictly limited to the face specifically, as opposed to the entire, ummm, head.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I was thinking that he would be a Raider on hearing about his release...

Good so they don't take a linebacker in the draft!

Everyday is something new, someone else new...With a story, take, spin...On how Big Ben is the most horrible teammate ever, in the history of sports lol...

I draft and especially the season can not come quick enough! I'm not saying this upcoming team.is the best team we've ever had...But I've never been more fired up, to hopefully shut a lot of peoples pieholes...And get back to good ole, hard-nosed Steelers football

Bengals RB Mark Walton arrested for third time this offseason

Posted by Josh Alper on April 4, 2019, 12:00 PM EDT

Bengals running back Mark Walton has run afoul of law enforcement for the third time this offseason.

Walton surrendered to authorities in Miami on Thursday to face charges stemming from a March 12 incident. According to court documents obtained by the Miami Herald, Walton faces felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon, marijuana possession and reckless driving.

Walton allegedly ran from police after being pulled over for speeding and weaving in and out of traffic. He was shot with a Taser, but dislodged the prongs and got away from pursuing officers. Per the police, a search of his car turned up 14 grams of marijuana, a legally purchased rifle and several fully loaded clips.

Walton also faces misdemeanor marijuana possession and battery charges from two other incidents earlier this year. He was a fourth-round pick last year and ran 14 times for 34 yards.

The Bumgals can't get out of their own way can they? IMO this was the "Marvin Lewis culture." He accepted anything if it gave him a chance to win. Guy is a scumbag

We'll see what a new coach does

Clearly an idiot. How many times do you have to "run afoul of the law" in one off season before the team / league applies discipline?

All that being said, this part seems kind of bad ass:

                          Bengals waive Mark Walton
By Mike Florio | Apr 6, 2019, 1:28 PM EDT

                          These aren’t your father’s Bengals.

The team that once provided consistent safe harbor for players who found trouble away from the field has taken a stand, waiving running back Mark Walton.

The Bengals invested a fourth-round pick in Walton last year. But he has been arrested three times this offseason.

“It’s important for our team to get off to a fresh start as we begin the 2019 season,” coach Zac Taylor said in a statement. “For that reason, we felt it best if we move forward without Mark Walton. We hope his situation gets resolved, but we don’t want to take anything away from the good work that so many other players have already begun to demonstrate.”

Walton surrendered to authorities two days ago on felony charges of possession of a concealed weapon, marijuana possession, and reckless driving.

As a rookie, Walton appeared in fourteen games. He had 14 carries for 34 yards, and five catches for 41. The Miami native, who played at the University of Miami, will be subject to waivers. It would be a shock if anyone claims him.
