We need to be smart and not take AB personally... it is done and history. This scenario , not AB with Steeles, but any disgruntled player wanting out could of happen to anyone.

Might be a good strategy going forward to try to identify the divas, and don't give them a second contract.

It's a rental for a year, not a long term contract. The Steelers want to avoid a situation of having to reach in the draft to fill a huge hole. It's a smart move if you give it some thought. Especially considering the rumored FA contracts that are being thrown about for average players.
