I don't want Dud either but...Chickillo is also a FA, Have to have somebody...Would like them to address ILB, CB, WR in FA...If you let Dud walk, That's another area of need, and yes it is a need regardless

With Bud though at least you have a guy to hold that spot until we see what the depth is going to do. I believe there's an outside shot that OLA or Adams could develop into a solid OLB.

That’s what I’ve been saying.. just look at the Dupree/ chickillo mess and then factor in the sub-parness of Vince Williams.
If we get another first round pick for AB, I wouldn’t be surprised if we go LB, LB with our first two picks. Bush and Wilson. Because us taking linebackers later in the draft hasn’t worked out as of late.

But when the free agency window opens, us signing C.J. Mosley could change that.

If Dupree is let go then OLB is a need. If he stays on a one year, $9M+ deal then it's doubtful that you can bring him back the following year on a three-year, $$12M deal or something like that, so '19 is probably his last year (unless he truly does break out) and once again OLB is a need.

I would try everything to sign him to an extension at a price that makes you comfortable even if he is beat out at starter and is relegated to backup at both OLB positions. A number a little above Bostic's.

I also would not hesitate to jump on a OLB early as we have all seen the success of this D when there is a Harrison, Porter, or LLoyd.

Dont exercise the 5th year option and let Bud decide his worth.

Dupree doesn't need to come back; that's wasting 9 mil
