    Tomlin/ Rooney

I was hoping to wake up to seeing Tomlin fired, But that's not the Steeler Way...

The Steeler Way...The Steeler Way is...Losing to Oakland every time, misuse of TO's, clock management, challenges, miscommunication, unpreparedness against **** teams...The Steeler Way...

Belicheat beats Oakland and teams like them 50-0, McCarthy was fired, But we like tradition, continuity,We don't do bold moves...The Steeler Way...

I'll make a prediction...Rooney will make a bold move, That bold move will be putting Tomlin on notice ( hotseat ) AFTER the season...And maybe sending a message axing Butler / Smith * ala Haley ( look we did something )...

Next season we will go " around " 10-6...Beat ex: NE, NO, KC or the like, and lose to ex: Oak, Clev, Buff, or the like...And that will be good enough...

Wash, rinse, repeat...We did well, were close, no reason to blow everything up when we're " almost " there...

The Steeler Way...The Steeler Way is not cutting it, and hasn't cut in for awhile now...My concern is that this will keep continuing like ground hog day...year after year...Good, but not real good...We won't suck, but we also won't really win anything...You know, The Steeler Way!

Tomlin must have some compromising pictures of Rooney, Colbert & other Steelers brass. No other way to explain his job security.

The Rooney's are gutless anymore. They won't make the change.

The minority owners/investers wanted Tomlin fired after last year's embarrassing playoff loss.
Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.

I prayed that Butler would get canned, but Tomlin wont do it because he'd have to take over the defense.
How could he call the defense when he's so focused on clock management and the flow of the game.

The Steeler Way is letting valued players and coaches play out their contracts. Change will come at the appropriate time.
They did it with LeBeau, they did it with Arians.
The Steeler Way is also a model franchise for the rest of the league.

They aren't doing anything because the season isn't over, we are still in first place and at this point can still win the division. Tomlin has had a hell of a career with the steelers they wont fire him in season they are to classy for that.

Nothing will be done until after the season. Makes no sense to wack him right now.

I'm not sure that I would call what they did with Arians appropriate or a model for the rest of the league. But I get the point that they're not likely to do it until the season is over.

The Raiders also fired their GM immediately after the victory over the Steelers..... guess it was too little, too late.

As far as I'm concerned the Vikings deserve to be bad for guaranteeing 84 million to a player. I hope they miss the playoffs.
