    #4 Seed or Bust

Looks like we’ve got a long shot to fight for the #4 seed with a killer schedule coming up.

If if we don’t hold on to the #4, we’re probably not making the playoffs with all the teams in the playoff hunt.

Just win the division. Easier said than done but it comes down to who wins the North

Have to stop turning the ball over and dropping passes.

        Losing to Casey Keenum. Embarrassing.

Came down to 3 or 4 bad plays. Honestly I thought we played pretty well other than that. Defense played well enough for us to win.

I thought the defense looked soft. Yes, we might have won if not for the turnovers. But it sure would've been nice to have the D get us a turnover. Denver had no trouble against us on their last TD drive.

So it doesn't come easy. We could still beat the Chargers and Patriots and pass them. The Bengals are done IMO, we just have to hold off the Ratbirds, with a rookie QB, to get in. I like our chances. Hopefully Tuitt is back soon.

FIXED THAT so you could save our season.

Flippy, you let us down today....failing to start a negative thread when we were clearly behind.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

I won't disagree with you there. Sadly, that's "Today's NFL". With our offensive "Firepower"... we've gotta get the W when we hold a team to under 25. This one will come back to bite us down the stretch.

We need to wake up, start playing steeler ball. Did the Jags expose us again? Are we a hard hitting, smash mouth, physical team or just a soft team that that chokes and turns the ball over at boo! We need to win the division. I am getting nervous that the Ravens sneaking up, and take at AFCN from us.

                      Our remaining schedule is tough:
                      vs. Chargers
                      at Raiders
                      vs. Patriots
                      at Saints
                      vs. Bengals

                      So is Baltimore's:
                      at Falcons
                      at Chiefs
                      vs. Buccaneers
                      at Chargers
                      vs. Browns

I can't imagine the Ravens going into K.C. or L.A. and having Lamar Jackson or Joe Flacco outdueling Pat Mahomes and Philip Rivers, so I'd say the best record Baltimore could have would be 9-7 (since they currently 6-5 and simply are not beating the Chiefs or Chargers on the road). If the Ravens beat the Falcons, Bucs, and Browns to finish with a 9-7 record, we'd still win the AFC North even if we went 2-3 down the stretch.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I did start the thread. Problem was after Juju scored, he gave me hope and the football gods could sense my overall lack of sincerity. I actually thought we should have won yesterday and thought we'd tie it up in the end.

I'm not counting out the Browns.

                          They've got:

                          Houston
                          Carolina
                          Denver
                          Cincy
                          Balt

They're 3 games back, and it won't be easy, but I could see them hanging with every one of those teams and if they get a couple good bounces, they could run the table.

There's a not so outside chance they lose to the Browns and Falcons as well. They're not a very good team.

Speaking of Baltimore, they beat the Broncos 27-14. Now I'm even more annoyed.
