I don't love Bell, I couldn't care less if he is with the Steelers or not. I am not frustrated or railing on Conner. All I said was 4 fumbles in 11 games is a bad stat, and the fact he has had a rough couple games may have shaken his confidence. None of that is in reference to Le'veon Bell none of what I said is unreasonable.
All of the ones that was hoping Bell did not come back.

Who's dwelling on it all I did was say that I hope he works on fixing it. I have already acknowleged Conners fantastic season several times you are just upset because I don't sit here bad mouth Bell.Comment

His 4 fumbles are not anything to shrug off.
Look at more than total number of fumbles and compare to number of touches.
Its not very alarming.
Look at Cohen's number per touches.
In all honesty the same could be said about Ben.
The more he throws, the more picks its likely he'll throw.
I'd love to see 0 picks and 0 fumbles.
Conner has lost 2 fumbles so i dont think its something that the team has to worry about.
He definitely should be more wary of ball protection moving forwardLast edited by pittpete; 11-30-2018, 06:53 PM.sigpicComment

If he was a veteran i would be less worried but it's pretty much his his first 11 games, so I it is concerning, its concerning for the other backs too, just not to me because im not a fan of thise teams. Bens turnover concern me also, i certainly dont want a qb and a rb both with high turnover totals. His 4 fumbles are not anything to shrug off.

Im not upset. Just wish you'd move on from the fact that Bell is no longer a Steeler. Conner is our guy. Deal with it.
and you are "Emotionally invested" in Bell...lol.. the fact that you have taken Feltz's place in the "Defending all things Bell" proves that.Comment

You are the one who keeps bringing up Bell, I am talking about Conner and you keep injecting Bell into the conversation. Conner fumbling has nothing to do with Bell, let it go man.Comment

Everyone knows it!! Gzzzz. Bell is gone. get over it and move on.Comment

Bell is an idiot and a bum. And when he doesn't get the contract he wants, he's going to have egg all over his face.Comment

I just don't understand why all the insults? It seems you have taken someone else's business personally.
So what if Bell doesn't get the contract he thought he was worth? Will you feel better?
There is still a market for Bell. He would fit nicely with several RB needy teams. Unless teams black ball him I believe he is going to get a lot of money. I'll take that egg in the face any day. You probably will too.
Wouldn't it be something if Bell ended up back with the Steelers? Hahaha It could happen.Comment

The "Bell defenders" do not take into account (or apparently have no concept of) how Bell handled his business with the team...and how it impacted them early this season. If Bell didn't like the contract, so be it. He handled the situation very badly.I just don't understand why all the insults? It seems you have taken someone else's business personally.

Wow man I don't know how many times I can say I like Conner, it just doesn't seem to register with you. I don't have to have to hate Bell in order like Conner. Bell is a football player who held out on a contract and now he will play for another team, it really isn't anymore than that too me. If you want to bash a guy for a contract hold out than go ahead, I just can't bring myself to get that worked up over it, it's just a game.Comment

It's not. Because we allocated 14 damn million dollars to a guy who didn't want to be here. Coulda signed a couple of good defenders and been a much better team.

It was his right not to communicate or say anything to the team. He wasn't under contract. Just like it's team's right to cut players before players contracts expire for business decisions. Very little honor when it comes to big money business decisions for teams.
Maybe the circumstance of his plan changed when other players were injured? Maybe he planned to come in at the dead line but the Bryant injury changed everything?
Would you had felt better if he said I will be in by week 10 and then changed his mind? I doubt you would had felt better. You would most likely feel the same way regardless because you took Bell's situation personally.
The thing about it is that every one in the world knew that Bell might not return this season. Sometimes saying nothing is better than saying anything at all. If Bell said something or nothing he was in a no win situation with some folks.
The team appeared to be fine without Bell.Comment
