Actually no. The WRs couldn't get any separation and Connor was stuffed. You need something to click, and nothing did. Two of the three ints were terrific play on the part of their D.
The Steelers managed to out-think the Jags towards the end, that's all. Hat's off to Tomlin, Butler and Fitchner.
Ummmm, you’re missing the sarcasm there. Ben won that game for us.
Are you people serious, who are saying Ben saved Tomlin? Ben saved himself from ridicule of you same people who would all over him if the Steelers did not win that game. There were receivers open in that game, but Ben was to busy trying to after Ramsey. If you all can't see that, then you have a real problem.

At times, it did feel like Ben was trying to get back at Ramsey for his trash-talking (as Ben put it in the post-game interview). It's amazing to me how incredibly bad Ben can look at times. Some really awful decisions and throws early in the game. The offense was mind-numbingly bad for a major part of the game.

I don't think Ben was going after Ramsey so much as he was trying to appease AB after AB went through another whining routine. That has got to stop. Let Ben read the defense and throw to 7-8 different receivers which he has gotten really good at. Always looking at AB causes many problems that we don't need.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.
but Go Steelers!!!

Tomlin needs to get a handle on AB. Seriously. I"m quit tired of his complaining for the ball. Ben needs to just throw to who's open. Period.
Any complaining for the ball is wrong. I don't care if it is to a lesser degree then OBJ. Shut up and get open and Ben will find you or someone else who is open.
Using OBJ to justify AB's behavior is wrong.
Should AB just have said nothing when he got WIDE OPEN on a double move and Ben didn't look his way at all on that particular play? AB wouldn't be AB if he was a "just shut up and get open" guy. Granted, Ben has to stop forcing it to AB when he is covered, but that's on Ben. He should know better. Wideouts should always want the ball...that attitude that makes him a diva also makes him great. It's Ben's job to distribute to the ball to the guy who is open. It's AB much of the time, but when it's not, he should know enough not force it (especially with his history of INT's against this particular D).
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
There's a difference in "complaining" and then letting the QB know your open. I think AB is unguardable. He's lite Ramsey up for the most part in their match ups. But if Ben finds someone else open in an easier match up, by all means, that's where he needs to go.
For example: I love it when he threw it to conner on that sideline route; even thou conner dropped the pass, that was the correct decision.
