The jags have a formula to beat us. But I saw a defense that was tired at the end and this time, their offense couldn’t execute in the 4 th quarter like it did in the 4 th quarter in the playoff game last year.Comment

Jags took AB out of the game and Ben being Ben, felt he had to force it to him.
We abandoned the run early and became 1 dimensional.
Jags were able to get pressure on Ben all day.
Jags have a great defense and whipped us bad for 3+ quarters.sigpicComment

Press coverage seems to be our Achilles heel. WRs can’t get any separation before the pocket collapses, hence the forced throws.
Awesome win!Comment

Not a lot of teams boast 2 corners of the quality the Jags do, but at the end even they broke down. They have a very good D and a nonexistent passing game. That did them in on O, and our guys finally broke them at the end. Ugly and hard, but we nsed to be able to win when not firing on all cylinders.Comment

Its not that their O couldn't execute. Our D is lights out better than last year.Comment

The Jags have a terrific D. The O wasn't having a particularly bad game. The Jags just had them outplanned for 3+ quarters. Then the Steelers (and apparently Ben) found the crease in their D. Also, I assume that by that time their D was kinda worn out more than our O was (though we didn't really have much TOP).Comment

Actually no. The WRs couldn't get any separation and Connor was stuffed. You need something to click, and nothing did. Two of the three ints were terrific play on the part of their D.
The Steelers managed to out-think the Jags towards the end, that's all. Hat's off to Tomlin, Butler and Fitchner.Comment
