Who gets b'umped if Le'Veon signs?

Is Burns the least valuable person on the roster, vs. a bona fide backup in case of injury in the secondary?

I don't know guys on the practice squad, I guess one of them would get cut, but then who on the 53-man roster gets demoted? Grimble? Washington? A month ago I would have said Big Dan, but coaches seem to like him, giving him more playing time recently (though our defensive tsunami against Carolina was with him inactive, iirc).

Berry, so Ben can be our punter without any real decline in punting average?

The most obvious player to bump off the roster, should Bell sign, would be Ridley.

What's the rules for the PUP or reserved list? Could the Steelers move an injured player there to make room for Bell?

        Yes, that makes sense.

Though he is more likely to get snatched up by another team than someone of lesser value (cough, Artie).

If I were the Steelers, who obviously believed Artie Burns had amazing talent and potential (they said in the pre-season he was playing really well), I'd put him on the injury list, deactivate him for a week or so, and send him to a hypnotist/psychiatrist. He should also read "The Power of Now" (or listen to the audio book!), exorcise those demons of all the busted coverages.

I'd say Ridley, a phantom injury, or Hunter

Injury candidates include Brian Allen, Marcus Allen, Artie Burns

Dangerfield has to be in the mix. Like him he's a high effort guy from my neck of the woods but special team player is what he be.

Could be wrong, but I don't think Ridley plays special teams. All the more reason to make him the player dropped if Le'Veon comes back. Don't need that many HBs on the roster, especially if they would only play as 4th-string backup.

No need for 5 RB's, it would be Ridley IMO

Has to be Ridley, for the above point. But also, no one would pick him up if he got cut. Burns should be cut, no doubt. He is beyond salvaging. I think he's proven he's a never-was, but I think he still should be able to do some things due to straight speed. I don't really notice him, but he needs to be a gunner like DHB.

He actually should talk to DHB about how to salvage a bust of a career. DHB was on the scrap heap, but due to being a smart man, he turned his career into lemonade.

Looks like Ridley, Artie Brulay, and all the other Bubble Boys are safe, what with those reports from the other threads that Bell is going to sit out the rest of the year.
