    Game 9

This thread, believe it or not, won’t be in depth on itself or congratulatory. Rather, it will be a reminder on how far, and in a lot of sense, how little we(this team) has traveled.

Gfeat win win and a great ‘show me’ type of game. 6-2-1 is a fine standing and is desired by many teams. These men are jiving, though. It’s a great thing to see.

I believe this offense has everytbing it needs RIGHT NOW to.carry us to another championship. With the addition of lev it can only grow if it’s handled correctly.

Give lev reps but don’t allow teams to think he is important. That onice I’ll be on randy and the men on that side of the ball.

As as far as the defense. They are an x-factor to me. Ready to take control and build that identity and presence in a 60+ minute game.

I havw little worry about the jags however, I will say this to the Steelers because of last years losses to that squads,” SHOW ME!”

    HERE WE GO!

Yeah, I can't see Jacksonville being any kind of letdown or trap game. After last season, this team will want to lay the beat down upon those Jagoffs, hammering a nail into their playoff coffin.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

i wouldnt give bell a helmet for at least 3-4 weeks, maybe more if hes a douche.
he can learn the playbook during practice.
connor, samuels and ridley need snaps during the games. they are our future

Conner and Samuels are our future. Ridley is just a journeyman placeholder type. He may be the player who gets cut when Bell gets added to the 53 man roster.

Completely disagree. If he shows up, which I don't think he will, I'd use the crap out of him. I'd be putting him in the slot and Conner in the backfield and daring teams to stack the box to stop the run or spread out to stop the pass.

Antonio Brown and James Conner, who each scored Thursday night, are the first pair of teammates with 10-plus touchdowns each in their team's first nine games since Abner Haynes and Chris Burford with the 1962 Chiefs.

you are assuming he is in shape, knows the playbook, tries hard and doesnt disrupt the locker room.
the first 2 are a given. he isnt in shape and he doesnt know the play book
the next 2 need to be determined and thats going to take a number of contact practices and a few weeks to see how he acts and how the rest of the team respond to him.

i hope you are right and he doesnt show up. i just cant understand why you would leave miami, start tweeting nice and play BB in pitt if you dont plan on signing.

the coaches will decide just how much to use or not use LB when and if he returns. That being said, IF he arrives in shape, motivated and is a positive to the team - we would be insane not to use him.

Hasn't it been pretty well reported that the playbook is basically the same as last year?

My understanding is that the difference in the O is more about play selection than scheme.

Well, they'd have to at least change the verbiage, or else the first time we played against former O.C. Todd Haley, his new team would be able to predict what was coming from our offense, forcing 6 turnovers, taking us to overtime, and, ummm...nevermind.
