Bell sight in the Burgh ( and my ramblings)

He was spotted playing hoops in LA Fitness center.

    He is so dumb.

    He is so ill advised.

This guy lost the plot, he insisted of holding out this year until he signed long term contract, to avoid injury under his franchise tag contract ( which i can understand to a point), and yet he goes out and plays hoops with amateurs, who could easily undercut him or hurt him. Doesn't he know he is a marked man in the Burgh now. Not so professional on his part.

There are not enough words to explain my frustration with him. I was for one of the few people on here, who wanted us to pay the man. He is hell of a player and I hope he contributes this year, but I can't wait to see him leave next year.

This guy ruined his brand and respect in the league. Just think of all the money he lost on endorsements not including the money he lost this year.

My favorite Steeler now is Decastro... love his quote when asked about Bell... " No one cares"

Now how does Bell take that, he has to have some shame and guilt walking into the locker room.

This guy is a clown, already hurting his team, by distracting them on a short week. He should of called every player and coach on Thursday, after the game, and told him that he is coming in on Friday, instead of a misspelling post "farewell miami". That is 10 days ( mini bye week) to resolve issues and practice.

It's been a tough pill for Bell's camp to swallow... coming to the realization that the extended holdout (and the manner in which it was conducted) was a huge mistake monetarily for Bell.

Im glad you now realize that paying Bell "Trend setting" type of money would have been a huge mistake for the organization.

I'm not the least bit frustrated with Bell. He showed what kind of teammate he is and that he's all about the money. I'm fine with him ending up on a team like the Redskins. Or if he finds away to make amends with the Steelers, I'm fine with him complementing Connor as well.

In the beginning, it looked like his drama was a detriment to the team. I actually think it brought our team closer together. This line is in it to make Connor shine. And they're doing just that.

I personally don't trust this guy out on the field.

I’m Leary of him as well. I wouldn’t put it past him to fake an injury and be out the rest of the year. That’s what JH told him to do a few weeks ago on twitter and you know Bell was listening.

DeCastro says “ no one cares” while Conner says ,”we’ll welcome him back with open arms” ... so clearly there is division on the team in regards to Bell. I’m in DeCastro’s camp on this.

It's worth remembering that the team offered him a "Trend setting" contract, but he turned it down.

As Capt. Lemming pointed out at the time, we should thank Bell for saving us from ourselves.

I think "no one cares" in that comment meant "no one cares that he wasn't there". Probably because Conner has been playing so well.

That doesn't mean that they won't "welcome him back with open arms".

I think they have a players only meeting, Bell apologizes for not telling them that he wasn't going to be here week 1 and they all move on and try to win a SB.

You don't have to be best friends with people on your team.

we’ll see how this plays out. Gonna be awkward initially regardless.

I don't see them welcoming him back with open arms. They will accept that he is back but IMO he has burned way too many bridges with this and especially his constantly sending false signals about his intentions.

yup. there is no way that there isnt hard feelings that will never go away.
forget the, 'its a business stuff'. anybody that has played any competition sport knows there is a brotherhood when it comes to battling side by side.
bell has been a major douche to everyone associated with the team all for his own selfishness. people dont just forgive that.
imo, there will be locker room drama. no way bell practices or plays hard if/when he shows up.
hopefully the coahes never let him see the field unless connor gets hurt

I'm in the " I don't want Bell back " crowd...But I will admit Bell is good...The only thing that scares is is if Conner gets hurt...We have cap soace, but the trade deadline is past, and there are no FA's worth a ****...And the thought of Ridley/ Samuels would be like not even having a running game...THIS is what scares me
