I truly believe that Dobbs is a real QB and not just a gadget guy! He has real talent and the smarts to go along with it... What is there to fear! Knowing Ben though, he will roll himself out on the field on a stretcher, on national TV, before he would allow Dobbs a chance to show him up... All I know is an injured Ben trying to play usually equates to bad performances... Just my take!

First game against the Ravens it seemed like every time he came into the game it messed the Steelers up. This past week it was no problem whatsoever. That gimmick sure died fast.

I was thinking start Rudolph instead. The guy needs to get snaps sometime and this pre-season game is as good a time as any. Oh...wait. Nevermind.

Ben just played with a broken index finger, threw for 2 TDs and ran for 1 vs. the #1 ranked defense..

I'm not comfortable starting Rudolph. He hasn't had enough time backing up Dobbs yet.

I don’t understand some of the assumptions about Dobbs. Granted I didn’t follow his college career - but while he can make plays with his feet (as any young QB should), I haven’t seen anything that leads me to believe he has ‘slash’ potential.

As for him starting over Ben - this ain’t Colorado. Put down the pipe son......

Don't press your luck, my friend! As soon as he throws an interception (and you know he will) he will grabbing that broken index finger, grimmacing, rolling over, while limping to the sideline...

Having a mobile QB would be just one more weapon that the defense would have to contend with even if it is for only a few plays a game. At worst if we do it a few times then any defense we face after that will have to waste practice time working on defending it.
That worked so well for the Ravens...let's hurry up and put it in the playbook

I know some of you hate bens dramatics but i think it might be my favorite quality of his

Any time he can clutch his shoulder after throwing a strike or lay on the ground looking like he DIED and pop right back up and play again he plays so well lol.

My buddy was saying he was grimacing before he even got hit and all of the sudden comes in the next play and looks like the hulk...i think i'd be the same way. Self awareness is key

I agree. Not sure why it bothers so many "tough guys" spending their Sundays sitting in their recliners.

My favorite moment was when he was (slightly) grazed acrossed the head in that Tampa Bay game, this guy goes into brazillian soccer style, flop-mode, and draws a 15-yard penalty... I was beaming with pride!

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
