The way how the NFL is trending, trade deadline is catching up to the NBA where things happen.

In regards to our beloved Steelers, I hope the rumours are true and they make a move for CB/LB (Conley,Jenkins, Beauchan) or even last minute trade with Bell. It's Conners' team now!

I think the better bet is no.

Bell won't be signed and I don't think they trade Burns.

Anybody think Jamie Collins can be useful to this defense?

6'4" cover-blitzing inside linebacker with a chip on his shoulder against Belicheat... We've got the cap space for him now with Bell's saga. Can be cut with drastically reduced dead-money hit next year if he doesn't work out. A low risk-high reward solution. Playing next to Burnett in the nickel formations where I can't trust Vini or Bostic to keep up with a Kahreem Hunt or Melvin Gordon on man coverages, or you can get Collins back to his bread&butter blitzing up the middle with Hilton to be a nightmare for Brady or Mahomes.

I'd do a third rounder for that possibility if the Dorsey isn't upset enough with us to trade with him!

I think the Steelers stand pat based on history. When’s the last time the team made a move at the deadline? I honestly can’t remember.

Time to break that mold. As a Steeler fan it frustrates the hell out of me seeing the pats fill holes without giving up their heavy picks during the season and always end up going deep. We need help in the secondary and its time to make that move. But it's the steeler way!

I’d like to see them make a move to fill the CB spot opposite of Haden. The Burns/Sensenbaugh experiment needs to end.

I think this trade deadline is way over blown, for one if a team wanted to make a trade nothing would stop them from the beginning of the season until now. All the deadline is the last day that a trade could happen this season. Nothing more nothing less.

                  not true at all.
at the beginning of the season all teams were in position to win the super bowl. after 8 games, there are teams basically out of it for one reason or another, more injuries, disgruntled players, large cap hits to consider and teams on the cusp that think 1 player might be enough to put them over thje top. so the trade deadline date is huge
steelers = 3 ring circus with tomlin being the head clown

While that would be the kind of player we could certainly use, I don't foresee the Brownies trading within the division to help out their nemesis. I heard that New England has put out feelers to possibly re-acquire Collins again, though.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

How about trading with the Giants for S Landon Collins and CB Janoris Jenkins. Give them CB Artie Burns, S Marcus Allen, a 2nd round pick in 2019, and a conditional pick in 2020 (the value of which would be dependent upon whether or not we are able to re-sign Collins to a long-term deal this offseason after his rookie deal expires).

I think they love collins as a leader and core to their actually pretty talented defense

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is ready for anything this afternoon

Posted by Darin Gantt on October 30, 2018, 11:27 AM EDT

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has already resigned himself to leaving Green Bay after this season.

What he doesn’t know is if he’ll have a new address by the end of the afternoon.

While he’s reportedly on the trade block heading into today’s 4 p.m. deadline, the Packer safety told Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin that he hasn’t heard anything so far.

“I’ve got about 24 hours and then we can talk,” Clinton-Dix said Monday. “I don’t know. You guys might be surprised.”

As many players, Clinton-Dix took on the “business is business” mantra because he knows this is out of his control.

The 2014 first-rounder was hopeful of a new contract from the Packers this offseason, but that never happened, and he admitted earlier this month he expected to be somewhere else once he hits the free agent market next spring.

Clinton Dix would be another great pickup...not sure what the price tag would be after this season, though.

Could always tag him i guess
