Defense slowly looking better and better each week ...

Did Burns even see the field today?

Haden is a friggin' beast (Lord help us if one or both of his Balsa Wood legs give out again this season).

Overall, I thought our defense looked, dare I say it, great today. As we've always said, it starts with pressure up front!

Should we tell Butler we're sorry we wanted to fire him, and please stay?

(Do we still need a free-agent safety by Tuesday?)

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

Haden is having a solid probowl type season.
I didnt see Burns on the field once today on defense.
Did anyone else happen to notice that Vince wasnt on the field every freaking down?

I thought I saw Edmunds take a couple bad angles early and then there was the PI in the end zone. Maybe the rest of his game made up for those. How has Big Dan been doing overall? It seems like I've seen him in on more plays the last few games.

        maybe a little.
gonna have to take into consideration that we were at home, after a bye, bad weather conditions and playing against a rookie.
i will say the offense did a nice job against a pretty formidable defense
good division win. good loss by the rats and too bad fitpatrick didnt get put into the game earlier.........

Probably didn't hurt as well that Morgan Burnett got to play for the first time in many weeks.

If Burns couldn't make it on the field for even one play even after a bye week … when?

Maybe the defense has improved but remember they were starting from a very low spot. It wasn't perfect; Edmunds misplayed a few with bad angles, Dupree again with a mixed bag rushing. But they were also able to scrape together enough plays to keep the rookie BM off balance.

                It was the block numbers.

(Seriously though, Steelers brass, can we change back to these jerseys full time?)

Good win; now let’s find a way to pimp slap the Ratbirds next week and end their season early.

There were numerous occasions on passing downs where both Vince and Bostic were on the sidelines and L.J. Fort and Morgan Burnett were the linebackers. I wonder who is wearing the green communication dot on defense now?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Absolutely. It's time. Never should have switched to the rounded numbers at all.

This is the first time I realized that the Cleveland Browns new rookie QB has the initials B.M. How perfect is that?

Dunno, but I'm glad to see us (finally) getting Bince off the field on passing downs.

Good to see improvement on D, but IMO that unit still has plenty of work cut out for it to be able to beat the likes of the Chiefs, Patriots, Packers or Rams.
