Marvin and vontaze - two pigs in a pen.

I think Marvin is a terrible coach and hope he never leaves - but I always thought he was a decent guy.

But after this post game quote it’s clear he’s sold whatever integrity he had left in his desperate quest to climb out of being the most inept head coach in nfl history.

Do you expect the league to take a look at Vontaze Burfict’s hit on Antonio Brown?

“I don’t know what play you are talking about. There were a lot of plays out there.”

B.s. he knows. But he’s all in with vontaze. Congrats - they are perfect for each other.

He's always looked the other way when Burfict has shown his true colors and played like the thug that he is. He never shown accountability for his players or their actions or disciplined them accordingly. this goes way beyond Burfict.

My son was asking me if he thought the hit was dirty.
I told him you bet your @ss Tomlin will be sending the forearm to the head of Brown to the league.

Lewis is a scumbag. He sets the climate that tolerates Burfict.

It was supremely satisfying to give these two clowns a beatdown today.

How does a team like that have an “Aww Shucks” QB like Andy Dalton?
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

Don't forget that they also drafted Joe Mixon, who suckerpunched a woman in the face. Always satisfying to beat them.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Was it just me or did Burfict look like a shell of his former self?

He got a cheap shot in on AB for sure that's so bush league, the NFL should suspend him for a season imho, even though they won't.

But he got run over by Burger King, Jimmy Conner, Double D just to name a few. He kept coming off the field looking tired and beaten. He looked like an old man. Take away his former spirit and leadership and Pac Man and this team didn't seem as Thug like to me yesterday. They looked soft.

There was another play in the first half where I remember thinking Burfict was diving helmet first toward Ben's knee but just missed...fortunately.

I was reading a little history on Burfict and he has over $4m in fines for his career. That's insane.

What is it? I'm guessing it's either steroids/rage, CTE worse than Aaron Hernandez/OJ/etc, or just plain mental illness. If you trace back his history, his father was a gang member and cocaine dealer. He was in prison most of the time, but that had to have some impact. Burfict was dealt a tough hand in life. Perhaps he doesn't respect life. Clearly there's no genuine competitive spirit in him, just an intent to lash out and hurt others probably the way he himself has been hurt in life. He probably has a vengeance on life and is out to make other feel and hurt the way he does.

If you go watch the hits from his career, there is nothing stable about his play. From trying to break Cam Newton's ankle to trying to take out Ben's knee to trying to put AB in the hospital twice. Remember the NE player that he tried to take out his knee even when the guy was nowhere near the ball or play? There's countless plays where he takes guys out and hits them head on when they aren't even in the play.

The irony in all of this is Burfict has never been suspended by the NFL for an illegal hit while JuJu was for hitting Burfict. Burfict has only been suspended for PEDs. The only justice that will likely ever be served on Burfict is the Juju hit. Apparently Goodell is afraid to go after him. If the NFL is about protecting players, they should remove Burfict from the league and take away all of Cincy's draft picks next year as punishment.

The Bengals have never disciplined him. Even Burfict's college coach once held him out of a game for having too many personal fouls. He's been a thug throughout his college and NFL career. I guess the only good karma in life is the fact that he had a great season in 2013 to show how naturally talented he is and his career stats and performance have been all down hill from there. He's never had as good a season since or made another Pro Bowl. In reality, he'd be irrelevant if he wasn't dirty. If he wasn't a thug, no one would know his name. It's his only path to staying relevant.

The NFL should put an end to this. And I see a big difference in a guy like Burfict and a guy like Pac Man Jones. While Pac Man was a knucklehead and couldn't control his emotions, I'd be more willing to give a guy like that a pass because he wasn't aware or in control of his emotions. Burfict on the other hand is calculated and dirty. He plays with intent to injure vs a guy like Pac Man who plays without using his head. Big difference.

I have a feeling at some point after Burfict's career is over, he's going to do something insane and harm someone or himself. He seems like a very sick man.

The guy is just not right. And he did seem a shell of himself yesterday. He'd come off the field winded and dejected. I wouldn't want to be his neighbor. It seems just a matter of time when he'll just come completely unglued and do something awful. If the league ever needed to keep an eye one someone, I think he's a good candidate for number 1.

His dirty play goes way back. He's never been bothered by trying to hurt other players, including his own teammates.

                            Highschool:
There’s tape of Burfict clearly taking a shot at Matt Barkley’s knees in a high school game.

                            College:

“There were more practice fights in Vontaze’s years than I’ve seen in (current coach) Todd Graham’s entire four years at ASU,” Chris Karpman of Sun Devil Source told the Press Enterprise in January. “I think in the first week after he’d been cleared academically as a freshman, he was in a fight every day of practice that following week.”

He finished his college career with 22 personal fouls in 37 games. He also failed a drug test at the NFL combine.

                            NFL:

2013: Hitting player in Groin: $10K fine
                            2013: Defenseless WR: $21K fine
                            2013: Facemask: $7,855 fine
                            2013: Spearing: $21K fine

2014: Twisting ankles of 2 players in game: $25K fine

2015: 3 plays earned fines against Steelers: $69,454 (including a dive at Ben’s knees)

2016: Suspended 3 games for hit to Antonio Brown’s head
                            2016: Stomping on RB’s leg: $75K fine
2016: Flipping the double bird to fans: $12,154 fine

2017: Starts brawl in practice after diving at knees of own player recovering from ACL tear
2017: Suspended 3 games for hit in pre-season game (against KC)
2017: Ejected from game after contact w/ official. No fine

2018: 4 game suspension for PEDs

This guy is a piece of garbage.

The guy should be out of the league. But there's a part of me that wants to see him stay. He's a perfect fit for the Bungles and significantly contributes to that team's regular meltdowns.
