Easily the best game of the season

The D showed up against a powerful offense.

The offense played a complete game (or at least didn't take either half off).

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come instead of just a blip on the radar.

Looks like Fort made the best of his opportunity. Have to admit I thought he shouldn't have made the team after not beating out Spence last year.

The final score was the kind of thing I like to see as well. I'm happy that they were able to score on a D that everyone thought they should score on and even happier that they held ATL to under 20.

There are always faults to be found in any game no matter what the score.
How do you get better if you don't find, recognize and correct?

• Bens forcing the INT, taking points off the board
• the 3rd and less than 1 we couldnt convert
• the numerous penalties(2 by Bud)

By simply not bringing it up. Way too much to be happy about to nit pick about what went wrong. The team will look at the film and be sober-minded about what they could have done better. As a fan, I'd rather focus on the fact that today's game was like having an old friend back.

Absolutely. Good coaching actually all the way around.

Defense had it's normal trouble with TEs again but I was very impressed overall with their performance against a very talented offense.

If I'm Tomlin and Butler, I might not want to see as much Bince as I did before his injury. I thought Fort did pretty well.

I don't want to sit here and piss in our bowl of cornflakes, but I was really cursing Ben at the half. I honestly thought I had just witnessed his worst quearter ever. He was just off. The defense was playing great, but starting to bend. It was a close game, but I felt like disappointment was heading our way. Then came the 2nd half. Just a great all-around team performance!!
