I think it is quite amazing that the team has stayed competitive and borderline, superbowl caliber for as long as they have been. When you take into account that we are almost always drafting after in the high 20's and seem to be allergic to FA impact signings/players - which is hard to figure. Steelers still want to build teams almost solely through the draft. Well that is kind of hard to do when you are constantly choosing from the leftovers. Hey, how about trying to moving up sometimes? No thanks, we're good!

This philosophy is outdated and we are not the patriots.... Add to that, when is the last time we drafted a DB that was worth anything besides Troy and Ike? Can we say "wake up" call!

i think we have the players we just do a great job of breaking them down and building them back up into trash DB’s.

Haden is a beast in man.. so let’s put him on zone and watch him struggle. That’s show em how we do things here.

If we kudt
played man with 2 safeties over the top I think we would see better results.

Zone doesn’t work when the QB has all day. He just waits for a guy to run into open spots.

I also think the best pressure is or offense scoring TD’s and forcing the other team to catch us instead of the other way around.

I was watching the Titans vs. Eagles yesterday, now that's a defense those titans have. They will go far with that defense! Guys running and hitting all over the place. On offense, we have way more talent on our offense then the titans have, however, if we played them it would be no contest because their D would shut us down. Wise teams know that great defense still wins championships! Steelers use to have that philosophy - I don't know what happened!

With a 1-2-1 record, I would have expected to hear stories of broken TVs by now. But nothing. Crickets. It's like no one cares any more.
