    Is "Blitzburgh" back???

After week #1 we already have 7 sacks. Can we better the 56 we had last season.

Before the "glass half empty/find a negative in everything Steelers crowd" enters the discussion and say its just the Browns, I think it is important to remember that Taylor is a very mobile QB.

Perhaps the Watt and Dupree switch is a brilliant move or perhaps the stars just aligned. Excited to see what is next against the Chiefs.

Taylor is very mobile and the browns offensive line is still very good even without Joe Thomas (though LT definitely is struggling) as a unit they are quite talented.

Id say yes...Watt pacing towards 64 on his own, imagine what he will do once hes in game shape

I'd say it's hard to tell yet. I think we could improve as our secondary/coverage improves and our front 7 get more time together.

A lot will depend on how we play in coverage. I don't know the identity of this D yet. Are we willing to play more man and tight coverage?

Maybe. Tyrod is mobile but he also holds the ball and doesn’t make quick decisions.

Will be interesting to see how we do against Mahomes.

The best part of this is I didn't notice them blitzing very often. The worst part is ... Where the hell was Tuitt???
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

          but Go Steelers!!!

Maybe he was eating up space so other guys could make plays?

Tuitt had no sacks, but 4 solo tackles...not bad for a DE...

I also read that he recorded 5 QB pressures...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I'm not ready to get too excited yet. We tied the Cleveland freakin' Browns, fresh off a winless season. Yes, they look to be improved. But they're still the Browns.

Let's see if we can build on this defensive performance. If we're kicking hiney for the next 4 or 5 games, then I'll probably be amped about our D.

We tied the Cleveland Browns...after giving them the ball 6 times...

                  That’s miraculous...

No it isn't. They're the Browns.

The Steelers tied the Browns and only one guy played poorly, unfortunately, it's the one guy that can't play poorly or you will tie the Browns. Except for Ben every other player had a 'C' at worst in this game, maybe you can give Boz a 'D' or 'F' for the missed FG but the rest of the players were at 'C' or better and many were in the 'A' to 'B' range.

As units here's what I saw

Special Teams - Mixed bag, missed FG, but blocked a FG to preserve tie, Switzer looked comfortable in bad conditions fielding punts and made positive yards when given the opportunity, kickoffs with no returns and all punts were covered without any major yards being made, overall a B+

Defense - No need to explain, they were an 'A'

Offense - Worst unit by far, but because of one guy turning it over 5 times, otherwise the game is a runaway, 'C'

Honestly i could care less about sack totals.
I do love me some pressure though instead of sitting back in zone.

Not sure how you came to this conclusion. The Browns OL is not very good, they've been shuffling all preseason. Trying to replace J Thomas is like trying to replace Shazier.... a very tall task. When Bud 'Freakin' Dupree has 1 sack and 2 TFL you know he ain't facing J Thomas...

I was going to bring this up...

Impressive considering how mobile Taylor is. Well we face another mobile QB in Mahommes. Hope we can hit him as much as Taylor.

You gotta think that , " if we got 7 sacks, then we must have also had 6-8 hits on him. That adds up.
