In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:
TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher -
ARE.....and his scorching 156 passer rating and 81 percent along with his role as receiver and returner.
How dare people say Brown is better.
Dude needed to be paid like Ben and Brown COMBINED

They look about the same size and they're both white. And while I like this Switzer kid's decisiveness to head upfield without hesitation, he seems a lot slower than Welker.
Then I looked up their 40 times and Switzer ran a 4.33 vs Welker's 4.65. That's a big difference in shorts, but Welker seemed a lot quicker in pads and on the field.
I also like Switzer's reliable hands especially on a rainy day like yesterday. I think we found a gem. But he seems like another Steeler guy that plays slower than his timed speed. We've had a number of guys over the years that seemed to play faster than their timed speed like Troy, Hines, AB, etc., but a lot of our recent guys seem to play slower for whatever reason.sigpicComment

I think a lot of his hesitation is being brand new to the team and unfamiliar with his new teammates...They look about the same size and they're both white. And while I like this Switzer kid's decisiveness to head upfield without hesitation, he seems a lot slower than Welker.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

I'd like to see the Steelers use this kid as a WR as well. He's not been given a chance in the NFL (Dallas acquired Tavon Austin and drafted a few WRs and who knows what Chukky & Oakland were thinking). In college he was a beast at WR. He was 1st team All-ACC at WR his senior year and holds the UNC career records for receptions and receiving yards.

I'm with you. I'd like to see what he can do as a #3 WR out of the slot. But the thing he has working against him is you want to be able to use AB and JuJu in the slot, so offensively I think we're more dynamic if our #3 WR can play on the outside and Switzer makes AB look like Megatron by comparison. I really think Switzer could have trouble against the press on the outside.I'd like to see the Steelers use this kid as a WR as well.
