I would assume Garrett came in untouched. Totally caught him by surprise. Conner appears to have taken the loss hard...and I'm sure he will use the fumble as motivation to get better in practice this week.

The time has come for #30.

We now have the best Oline coach in football and arguably the talent up front to be an all All Pro O Line.

We just made the Oline's job that much easier with a 1 cut and go RB.

Who doesn't want to see Jimmy Conner put up better numbers than LB?

He's a higher character kid who has overcome so much more and is deserving of so much more.

If our OLine has any pride, Jimmy C will be an All Pro this season.

Besides injury or failed test, an All Pro Conner is Bells worst potential result of his holdout.

If Conner really winds up with beastly numbers, I wonder how much impact it has on others teams perception of Bell? Can anyone look good behind our line?

If the holdout is extensive as some speculate WOULD Bell be an automatic starter?

Bell is almost certainly the better receiver as he has rare skills as such. But might Conner be as good or dare I say "better" as pure runner? Bell was not "special" as a runner for much of last season.

If Conner is better on first down as a runner (and more than a few were better than Bell last season in 1st down ypc) does Bells role not get relegated to being the leagues best 3rd down back?

If Conners tears it up Bell might just come to regret not taking the money and keeping Conner on the bench.

He was wore down; because the offense went ultra conservative in the play calling. Why couldn't someone like Ridley have come in to give him a little rest? 31 carries right out the gate? Not even letting Samuels in on third down either?

I don't know that ANYONE is focusing on the miscue. It was a VERY costly turnover. But Ben is getting plenty of "focus" in this forum for his "Bad Ben" performance.
