    Dear Jooser -

Please forgive --- my "plan" on Sunday was to wake up a little earlier than usual - Healthy Breakfast and then get ready for a *fun Steelers game --- enjoy a solid victory and then do some heavy duty work on MNF Exec. while the afternoon games played in the background.....and of course occasionally enjoy a Steelers Recap --- a Recap that I undoubtedly would smile and enjoy......OH it was such a beautiful vision.....

Well......instead my afternoon was filled with a unique blend of rage, remorse, anxiety and despair.....and I wasn't as focused as I imagined on Sunday afternoon.

    I will correct this tonight.

Nah...but there was a Saquon bonus. Yeah, boyeeeee!!!
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

NBC crushed it with the Packers - Bears game. Has to be close to the opening day weekend in points. Yikes!

Welcome BACK -- MNF Executive has kicked off.....and what a Monday Night Game NBC picked.....putting up 90 points all to themselves in a Bears v. Packers NFC North Monday Night Rumble......NBC picked a game with a 1 score victory, down by 17, with Rodgers and Mack putting together a big night.

The reigning champ - MeetJoeGreene - may have not taken the top spot, but with 45 points -- he and 5 additional MNF Execs are in second place and hoping to move in on NBC.

Papillion was unfortunately the only MNF Exec. to visit the Goose Egg Lounge this week with his Dallas v. Panthers choice -- but on the bright side it was Cowgirl night at the Goose to help ease Pappy's Pain.

Looking ahead Sam Darnold picked up his Rookie Bonus in the first week and likely ruined the only reason Ruthlessburgher, Fordfixer, and yours truly (Lonbull) picked their game in Week 2!

Saquon Barkley also took a Rookie Bonus off the board by knocking out the first TD by a Rookie Running Back -- which certainly helped Ghost, Ruthlessburgher, and Squidkid put up a respectable 45.

Looking ahead - Tomlinator will be hoping NBC stays hot, as they share the Giants v. Cowboys NFC East fight.

Ghost, MJG and ESPN all have a game to themselves and are hoping for some second week magic to help them get closer to the top.

Good Luck this week - your leader is in RED

            Week 2

Giants v. Cowboys – NBC, Tomlinator
Vikings v. Packers – Passhappy, Flippy, PFelix73, Squidkid
            Ravens vs Bengals – Ghost
Patriots v. Jaguars – Papillion, Jooser
            Raiders v. Broncos – MJG
Dolphins v. Jets – Ruthlessburgher, Fordfixer, Lonbull
Chiefs v. Steelers – Starlifter, SteelerofDeville
            Seahawks v. Bears – ESPN

Good call on putting ME (the reigning champion) on top of all those others who copied my brilliant game pick. And SOD on the bottom makes perfect sense too.

Shots fired between Former Champion and Back Door Man SteelerofDeville and Reigning Champion MeetJoeGreene -- however it's SteelerofDeville (and Starlifter) with the Week's best score of 85 total points in the Steelers v. Chiefs high scoring (and hard to swallow) game at Heinz.

For our beloved Steelers it was close -- but not enough....much like that crazy amazing catch by J.C.

Looking ahead a little bit - SteelerofDeville has the Jets v. Browns game all to himself --- and I'm sure he was hoping for a Sam Darnold v. Baker Mayfield game to ensure some bonus points -- however Darnold has already taken his bonus and Mayfield likely won't start.....could be a rocky week for the guy at the top.

Next in line is Passhappy -- and He, Flippy, PFelix73, and Squidkid enjoyed a 65 point Packers v. Vikings Overtime Tie (Seriously....two ties, back to back??) -- Passhappy moves into a second place tie -- and he also has a game all to himself --- Chargers v. Rams battle of (almost) Los Angeles.

Also tied for Second is Pfelix73 -- who along with NBC will be hoping for a close one in Detroit -- Assistant v. Former Head Coach -- I like it!

The bulk of the MNF Execs (7) are going to the Dirty South hoping for a close, brilliant game between the Saints v. Falcons -- for those of us who are already almost 100 points down (i.e. Me) -- "We're" really hoping to catch up some ground in this one!

However - I was so impressed with the Week 2 scores -- I've informed the ladies at the Goose Egg that they may not be needed for the rest of the season.....they said we had their full support.

Good Luck this week - your leader is in RED

                  Week 3

                  Jets v.Browns – SteelerofDeville
LA Chargers v. LA Rams – Passhappy
Saints vs Falcons – Ghost, Flippy, Tomlinator, Squidkid, Fordfixer, Lonbull, Starlifter
                  Patriots v. Lions – NBC, Pfelix73
                  Cowboys vs Seahawks – Papillion
Pittsburgh v. Tampa – Ruthlessburgher, ESPN
                  Raiders v. Dolphins – Jooser
                  49ers v. Chiefs - Tomlinator, MeetJoeGreene

In future years, we should subtract points for a large number of penalties. I've noticed because of the penalties, I'm losing interest in most games besides the Steelers'.

                          Papillion - 30

                          First of all.....THIS:

That's just a thing of beauty --- speaking of "things" of beauty -- Saints v. Falcons was THE - GAME to have this week as it gave 7 MNF Execs, including Top Squid - Squidkid...85 points and really shook up the board.

SteelerofDeville was bit with a little bad luck -- hoping to pick up the Mayfield Bonus -- he needed Mayfield to START the game AND Win.

Beyond that -- Cleveland was at the goal line with Chubb in the backfield -- and ended up with NO TD --- tough luck my friend.....I for one appreciate that you went for it.

Looking ahead the Squidkid (along with 3rd place Flippy and Papillion) have the Thursday Night Game between the Rams and Vikings.

Starlifter will lead a pack of 7 additional MNF Execs with the Ravens v. Steelers game.....a big game here could once again rock the board.....and maybe put Starlifter in 1st place?

Let's all enjoy a moment to make fun of Me (Lonbull) for picking the 49ers v. Chargers.....pretty sure I'll need a reservation for the Goose Egg Lounge this weekend.....(granted I think I have a standing reservation there, at this time of year).

Awe, c'mon, Cleveland won for the first time in like 7000 games... And mayfield did it. And he came in with a deficit, which is even better than starting (0-0).. speaking of which, that might not be a bad future idea... hear me out.

If the goal is "exciting game", then rookie comes in with a deficit is actually more exciting than starting the game (0-0)... might "also" be worth the bonus for future seasons
