Those idiot talking heads at ESPN in yesterday's pregame show were talking about MVP candidates. They agreed that it really only comes down to one of the Manning brothers.
Whatever.

Doesn't it always?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
Even worse - Cowher didn't even mention Harrison in the defensive MVP talk on his pre-game show. It was friggin' Boomer, the Steelers hater, who brought him up and Cowher outright dismissed it. WTF?

Cowher is the one that cut Harrison multiple times. If he doesn't acknowledge Harrison's existence, he doesn't have to admit that repeated mistake.

Wow...Romo? He played 5 games this year or whatever. Granted when he was gone they sucked, but totally undeserving.
What has Peyton done this year?
Eli seems to make sense. While he hasn't had a stellar statistical year, he leads the best team in the league and makes minimal number of mistakes. I don't think that makes an MVP but what other candidates are out there?

Like I've said for the last two years, up to 2007 the bad personnel decisions are on Cowher's shoulders not Colbert's. Cowher had the final say on personnel decisions. That is why Donohoe was forced out. Cowher is the one who wanted Clark Haggens playing and not James Harrison. I hope he does become the Stains' coach.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"
I can name 5 players more deserving than Peyton or Romo.
1. Michael Turner -
2. Adrian Peterson -
3. Kurt Warner -
4. Albert Haynesworth -
5. Eli
Probably the best list for MVP candidates I've seen thus far. I would give it to Turner or Warner.
Defensive MVP looks like it will come down to DeMarcus Ware, James Harrison and Albert Haynesworth (And maybe Joey Porter). I'd give it to Harrison at this point though...

It's clear you value your life...James is everywhere so one can never be too careful.

Exactly. Harrison is Cowher's greatest mistake. I think Boomer brought it up just to take a poke at Cowher...lol.
