All of a sudden, I"m concerned about our season opener against the Browns.

He'll play his way out the league or be injured out the league...either way, he'll be just another running QB that bites the dust. Like the majority of them do.Comment

That's my point dude..
Cam wasn't expected to be able to read defenses or be a great passer coming out of college. I live in Charlotte and sports radio was down right disrespectful to him. One guy said "I didn't want you but now that you are a Panther I support you" right after he got off the stage for an interview.
Russell lasted until the 4th due to his size. He was a 57% passer for 3 years at NC State. He was let go by the coaching staff because they had a freshman QB who refused to sign if Russell was on the team. He elevated his completions to 72% his last year but overall his completion percentage was only 60.8%
You keep saying Lamar can't throw and won't be successful but we won't know until a few yeas down the road. Repeating it over and over won't make it true.Steelers 27

most players don't make it in the NFL.
you aren't really saying much, just projecting based on personal bias.
you also swear Tomlin will be fired if he loses like last year in the playoffs. Your words carry little weight when it comes to "facts"Steelers 27

You really don't get it; there is no personal bias. I've just seen this too many times before. I know the signs of weather a running QB will make it or not. There was never any doubt in my mind about Cam or Russell. Because I saw how they played in college and knew that they could pass.
I watch Jackson too for the last two years and I know he can't read defenses and he's very inaccurate passing the ball. I don't know the kid but I know all the tell tale signs. He's not going to make it from my experience of running QB's.
It's amazing how when you tell something about someone and it's not positive then your assumed to have a personal bias against them.Comment

Inaccurate QB's don't make it in the league. I'm a student of the game. And that's what the history of the game has taught us.Comment

Roethlisberger and the offense have zero excuses for not coming out of the gate strong this season. He has everything he could want from OC, to multiple star WRs, and a top 3 RB. Zero excuses for not hanging 30 on the Browns in the opener.A lot of "smugness" I'm hearing from some of these comments. They could have beat us last year in the opener when our defense was pulling it out of their behinds, while the offense needed, as per usual, 8 or 9 games to get in sync. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if the browns took it to us in the opener.Comment

Unless the Browns defense turns out to be really good...Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.Comment
