Yep. I think steelhere was another big MM defender, IIRC. Seems like there was one other hard-core Mitchell apologist as well, can't think of his name, don't think he comes around any more.

Being a Mitchell fan and accepting that he wasnt doing his job are two different things IMO.
When trying to have a serious talk about a player that isnt performing well it gets annoying when certain clowns defended his play.
I know some just troll for a reaction, but its distracting.

Good for you buddy. From experience, I've learned to appreciate different opinions as well. Your right it would be boring if everyone always agreed. But at the same time, when posters attack other posters with personal insults for not agreeing with them , that shows that they don't have an intelligent rebuttal to what someone has said there by showing a lack of maturity and intelligence of there own.

So basically, if you attack someone with personal insults because they don't agree with you, your the one with issues..not them. I know right then who to and not to have further conversation with. I don't need to wait until that person attacks me. That's my poster room rules. And it's worked fine for me. Do what works for you Northcoast.

You're right I guess. Some choose to ignore electronically. When it gets personal I ignore the old fashion way.... don't respond. There is a generation that feels they can blurt out anything that comes to mind. They have a dire need to get the last word in. Those are the ones not worth engaging.
Sometimes it's just the beer talking... I've been known to imbibe a few.
