As others have said, given the Steelers choices at their pick this draft was as much about building a future team and less about winning now. The players just were not there for the win now plan.Comment

Buzz, if you feel that I was “attacking” you personally, I apologize unreservedly.
But, I seriously doubt you felt that way because you seem to be a reasonable person.
People can disagree and not show their fear of debate by ignoring others...Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.Comment

"Unfortunately, Allen’s instincts and aggressiveness just don’t show up at all in coverage. He’s recent Mike Mitchell-esque in single-high coverage, playing so deep that he doesn’t have a prayer of impacting the catch point at free safety. Allen just doesn’t make plays on the ball or show great range on the back end."
Kind of what i was saying about Mitchell all of last year and then being told i didn't know what i was talking about....LOL
"Allen’s angles to the football and tackling are superb, despite the fact that he often comes in hot looking to lay the wood. He has an uncanny ability to sift through trash and find the ball carrier, beating blockers to spots so he doesn’t have to shuck them"Comment

No worries. I didn't feel attacked. It's good to be able to have discussions with those we don't agree with. Sometimes we might learn something.Comment

And he was the better pick?
If I am a GM I would be concerned with this:
Due to both injury and game-planning against him, however, that may not be the case for Boston College's Landry, whose production in 2017 - 38 tackles, including 8.5 for loss and five sacks - pales in comparison to previous years.Comment
