Actually, we never "chose" Brown over Wallace. We tried to sign Wallace long term DESPITE his being a one trick pony. He turned up his nose knowing he could get more elsewhere.

We signed Brown to a lower deal with money that would not have been available if Wallace had accepted.

It's like getting your heart broken getting dumped by a chick you wanted to marry, moving on seeing your ex got fat and your wife is still looking good decades later.

BTW that is my personal experience, ex is long divorced and my wife could probably fit her wedding dress after 32 years, and has always looked a decade younger than her age.

I wasnt "smart". My ex saved me from a mistake.

    Same deal with Wallace.
    Lmfao......This is great!

This is spot on. The only difference is in this scenario you get to date both women at the SAME TIME before getting on one knee.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than smart?

Wallace turned up his nose at the Steelers because he knew he could get more elsewhere...in other words, the Steelers offered him what he was actually worth and not what he thought he was worth (kind of like Le’Veon Bell)...

Mike Wallace DID get his money...but, it was the Steelers who were proven right...if Wallace were actually worth what he thought, would he be on his fourth team after leaving Pittsburgh?

It doesn’t mean the Steelers were wrong to offer him a contract...it means that the Dolphins were wrong to offer him the contract that he signed with them...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Huh? They traded Torrey Smith - a fast guy who doesn't have great hands. They now signed Wallace - a faster guy that doesn't have great hands. I hate the Eagles and their fans, but this isn't a terrible signing for them at all.

And the Steelers "got on one knee" with Wallace, before marrying Brown who became a HOF level receiver.
And that is the point here.

BTW, I HAD dated both before, my wife was first.
My future wife and I were on and off because we allowed societal pressures to get in the way.

For a time we both pursued more "acceptable" choices one of which was my "Wallace".

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

              TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

At the original contract they offered Wallace, they probably could have retained BOTH players...

Wallace and Brown could have been “sister wives”...

                  Ewwww....

                  Forget it...
