Amazingly Carolina is 3-0 since McCaffey went down.
Doing just fine with previously cut Mike Davis averaging 4.8 ypc.
Amazingly? It’s not like they have been playing world beaters the last few weeks.

You would have to be a fool to think they are better without him because they won a few games.

Did I say they were "better"? I said they were doing just fine.

My point is not that a team is better with a lesser back. My point is that the difference in team benefit of an elite RB is not commensurate with the cost.

If you save on a back and spend that money elsewhere, the money is.better used elsewhere.

Carolinas cap hit is modest this year so it is not relevant. But this again shows how little runningback matters.

Give me a decent back, spend that saved money elsewhere, and THEN you have a better team overall.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

      TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

bruh.. 3 games is a small ass sample size to puff your chest out.

we won without Ben for a while last year.. we won without Tuitt..

doesn’t mean we were just fine long term.

The Jets and Le’Veon Bell appear to be headed for a divorce. The Daily News has learned that Gang Green is trying to trade the perennial Pro Bowl running back amid this nightmarish season. So…

Glad his disgruntled self is another team's headache. Good luck trading him with that contract.

If I remember correctly, the Jets were the only team to offer him a contract. And that was 2 years ago. He has done NOTHING in 3 years. What team will want him now? I hope he stays with Gase and the Jets. I can't think of a worse situation for him to be in

nah, I don't wish the guy ill will. He made his choice to chase the money rather than play for a contender. He got what he was looking for.

either Gase has some photos of NFL coaches or he is a hypnotist...

Cause I can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t just fire Gase and see if it’s really a team chemistry thing or just bad coaching.

this isn’t true but he definitely hasn’t looked like a top RB on the Jets. However, no one has looked like anything worth a damn besides the safety Adam’s...

                      and they traded him.

Funny how things work out. Miami basically gutted the team a year ago and now they are looking competitive. Mad respect for Fitzpatrick for hanging in there at his age with a rebuilt team.

someone on here said they were trying to tank last year. They beat the Pats in the last game of the year. Coaching matters.

I’m surprised Fitzgerald is playing this well. Usually he has a few good games and then falls off a cliff.

It seems to be a very 'QB friendly' season this year.... hmmm...

The Steelers are probably happy with who they have at RB. That being said, I wouldn't trade for Bell if I were the Steelers. If he became a FA then the Steelers might be interested at the right price.
