Ben has a sizable roster bonus due..., IIRC...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Honestly i don't think we need to pay a back like Hyde.
If we draft a RB in the 2nd, hopefully Connor comes back strong and we can sign a guy like Dion Lewis.
I actually don't mind the two back system.
Doesn't let a RB become complacent and keeps a nice competition going.

We would then have the $$$$ to sign a stud safety who can cover....

If Ben gets an extension, hope it's very cap-friendly. So we can sign some defensive talent.

Don't they have to do something with Haden to make his cap hit more friendly?

They don't have to...He has 2 years left on his contract.
If he goes downhill this year they can cut him with a minimal dead $$$ cap hit in 2019(under 2M)
If they restructure then they probably wouldn't be able to do that.

AB restructured so the Steelers can pay Bell's tag, if I read correctly.

I don't know how to spell it either, since I cannot even begin to think of an NFL player with a last name even close to that. The only name it brings to mind to me is good ol' Harry Nutczak, since it sounds like the surgical procedure performed on that particular part of the male anatomy.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
