Okay. Let’s talk hypothetically (though it isn’t hypothetical). I am a teacher. If a student takes a test, and this student is normally an A student, should I just overlook a wrong answer or two? Should I not mark it wrong? If I do, and the student screams, “F— you!” at me, am I still wrong?

It is actually more understandable coming from teenagers...not adults who are being paid...

If I’m being evaluated, and I make an obvious mistake that I knew I made as soon as it happened, should I scream “F— you!” at my principal when it is pointed out?

Just like Harrison, regardless of what the coaching staff did, that behavior is unprofessional and inexcusable, IMO.

But, perhaps I’m wrong because I live in the real world and not in the life of an NFL star...

Brady wasn't in school taking a test. He knew he messed up and missed an open receiver. He was already upset about it. There was no need at that point to rub additional salt in his wound.

Think of your son (if you have one) being on a basketball team. He plays awesome in the championship game, scoring 40 points, but at the very end of the game, though he's normally an exceptional free-throw shooter, he misses one that would have won the contest. What would you think if his coach then came off the bench and unloaded on your son, screaming like an idiot at him because he missed that shot? Totally unnecessary, and it's not coaching. Your son is already devastated about missing that shot. He doesn't need the coach piling on at that point.

Nobody “screamed like an idiot” at Brady...McDaniels pointed out that the receiver was open....

If a coach “screamed like an idiot” at my son, that coach would be wrong. Not for pointing out an error, but for screaming like an idiot.

And, if the coach pointed it out, my son would definitely be punished for screaming “F— you!” at the coach...

OK, no excuse for Brady yelling "F you" to the coach. I agree.

But in my scenario, let's say the coach wasn't screaming like an idiot. Let's say he just walked over to your son and calmly pointed out, "We could have won that game, but you missed the big free throw." That's still NOT coaching. Your son KNOWS he missed the big free throw.

Now if the coach then works with him on strategies to deal with the pressure of taking a free throw in a big moment, that's another matter. But to simply tell him, "You missed an important shot." Well, duh. It might be stating the obvious. It's not coaching.

I agree. If my son goes off on him, though, that does put a damper on the coaching/correction process...

McDaniels might have his mind elsewhere; Like on his new team, the Colts.

I agree with all but the impotent part.

Brady's wife is the cure for impotence.

                    Viagra in human form.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I guess I don't see what the big deal is. If you dance with anyone long enough, you're bound to step on toes from time to time, especially when you have a bunch of competitive and passionate people involved.

To have kept it under wraps for this long is amazing...

                                This.

Day 1: Start rumor. Get clicks.
Day 2: Interview everyone involved. Get clicks.
Day 3: Talk about rumors that started based on the initial rumor (i.e. rumor is that BB is leaving to coach the jets). Get clicks.

It's all just BS. Even if they have internal disagreements, it hasn't affected their play on the field (13-3).

The same is true of the Steelers. There are a bunch of little things that happened off the field this year. But, the team hasn't let them affect performance.
