Haley was a stewed prune. Whacked on the WahWah juice. Don't just stand there fatso, bust a move.

Todd Haley has always seemed to have had anger issues, or something! Frankly - I was quite surprised when we hired him and even more surprised he has kept himself in check for this long... With that said, the Steelers could do themselves much better!

Agreed. I think the main reason the Steelers hired him was the family ties with his father. He's done a reasonably good job of changing the way that Ben plays, which was the other reason for hiring him. But I think there's other OC's out there without the baggage Haley brings.

As an OC, Haley has been an unqualified success...

As a person, that is debatable...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I think it's kind of weird that every damn year the Haley vs Ben pops up anytime things are going good.

Maybe it's because Haley is just a bad people person so it's easy to write these stories. If he was really that bad we would've probably fired him by now.

He's missing a Super Bowl win on his resume. Maybe this will be the year he gets one.

Either way, I hope someone takes him away.

The winters are long and hard in the 'Burgh.... gets people on edge. But seriously, as the season moves along the pressure to win/maintain winning increases. Everyone handles pressure differently. Some become docile, other become headstrong or even beligerent. Don't know if Haley falls into any of these but could explain why the relationship sours as the season progresses.

According to a tmz like website it was because some dude kept telling her to keep her clothes on, referring to her alleged nudes online. Then Todd stood up for his lady, was pushed when it escalated outside and broke his hip like a 92 year old woman.

NFL will perform “routine follow-up” on Todd Haley incident

Posted by Mike Florio on January 4, 2018, 9:38 PM EST

As more answers are provided regarding Sunday’s incident involving Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley, more questions arise. The league office officially will be among those seeking answers.

According to NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, the league is conducting a “routine follow-up” regarding the situation, which initially was described as a “fall” by the team before morphing into a shove outside a Pittsburgh bar and, as of Thursday, progressing to a report that Haley suffered a “shattered pelvis” that caused him to be hospitalized for two days.

Although a “routine follow-up” is better than no follow-up at all, what would the league be doing if a player had been involved in a situation like this? While there is no suggestion (yet) of any wrongdoing by Haley, every puff of smoke on this one has led to thicker and thicker smoke.

For Haley, it’s the latest in a pattern that spans the past several years. There was a Pittsburgh bar incident in 2012, and another bar incident in Kansas City in 2011. There also have been multiple lawsuits involving Haley in recent years, including one alleging damage to a rental home and another alleging failure to pay a man who had taken care of Haley’s four dogs.

None of these events, in isolation, suggest any type of problem or issue. The history (especially of bar incidents) would seem to justify something more than a “routine follow-up” as to the latest altercation. Although there’s no indication that Haley did anything wrong, it seems prudent to find out what, if anything, prompted Haley to be shoved so hard to the ground that it reportedly shattered his pelvis.

Actually, Haley should welcome a full and complete investigation. With a contract expiring in Pittsburgh, the sooner the latest red flag is folded up and thrown away, the better his chances of securing another job will be.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Really? Cause I think all of the events, in isolation, suggest quite a few problems and/or potential issues. When you combine them together, it is hard not to conclude that we have a man-child with a chaotic personal life who is probably hurting his team and is almost certainly hurting his own career. Hopefully, Mr. Haley turns over a new leaf in 2018.

I wonder if there is a Haley/Ben issue, which I doubt, that Ben makes a power play and says I don't retire if he is gone.
