This is what Im saying.... exactly.

The stats may not jump off the page but watching the games he seems more in tune to what is happening, running better (not great) routes and is making catches. Hopefully, he keeps the uptick going and is a dangerous #3 in the post season.

MB is an interesting dude. He has wheels like a cheetah, but he looks as coordinated as a animal missing two legs on opposite sides and ends of body ./‘. He just does not have any moves, he goes down like a toddler who trips over its stuffed animal. But give him the ball with full head of steam and no real moves needed and he is gone. In those need a move moment he looks like the least athletic guy on the field.

all of this... yet Todd Haley keeps trying to feed him flanker screens like he's Eli Rogers lol

In all seriousness... MB has been fighting a lot harder for balls the last several weeks. His numbers aren't going to WOW anyone at this point...but his trajectory is certainly pointing upward. He's a far cry from where he was 8 weeks ago...when several of the members on here were ready to "Cut him". To use a popular phrase on here...im glad the FO doesn't listen to the board membership on here lol

More plays engineered to have him get the ball equal to or no more than 5 yards from the line of scrimmage and let him fly. His route running isn't as crisp as Juju's, thus why Juju is our #2. We need to maximize his skill set and get him the ball early in his route and let the cheetah fly.

I hope Bryant has a super breakout postseason; that will increase his trade value. A team like the Bears could possibly be fleeced for a high draft pick for him.

Lets start a movement after the postseason of Bryant to the Bears!

Bryant for superbowl MVP would be very sweet.

You're a good fan and everything but at times you misstate the meaning and intentions of others postings. Were there really a lot of fans calling for him to be "cut". I don't think that is true. But he has definitely upgraded his performance recently. I do think he was questioned for crying about his role when he hadn't performed that well with the opportunities he had been given.

I see you didn't catch my attempt at hyperbole.

A lot of guys were "Hating" on him.... "Done" with him in their own minds, etc. and yea, some wanted him to be cut/traded. Luckily, I wasn't one of those guys.

Nobody is giving up a High draft pick for Bryant, when they can just wait another year until he is a free agent. Bryant is super talented, my opinion is if you can sign him to team friendly deal than you do that.

Hopefully he shows us enough in terms of production (and as a teammate) that we can do just that this off season.

raycafan is spot on in his description of MB and it likely explains MB's poor route running. His feet just don't seem to go where his body wants. Watching him negotiate traffic after a short screen is painful. Wish the Steelers would scrap that play and just go with slants and go routes for MB.
