I respect your opinions. We can be on different sides. I just like to debate. Enjoy the game, Pappy! If the Jets and Bryce Petty pull off the biggest upset of the year, I’ll be ecstatic, because I think we can beat the Browns at home with our backups.
Not to steal Pappy's thunder lol.. but I think he was referring to Ben in broader terms... not just this year.

and yea, I'm ready for Bryce Petty to pull of the upset of the decade. HERE WE GO!!

So if we start falling behind, do we put Ben and Bell back in?
      They're inactive

The Steelers D is far from impressive so far.

If the jets are close in their game , we need to play hard. Period.

Steelers secondary still giving up big plays. They’ll have two weeks to work it out

Looks like (with 8 minutes left) the entire 1st team defense is on the field other than Cam Heyward (who is inactive)... so to answer the question of the OP...yes, "We" collectively care if we lose to the Browns. Tomlin understands what a loss to an 0-15 team does to our "Psyche"... going into the post season.

Why do the browns constantly hit us with screen passes exactly when we blitz?? Are we tipping our blitz??

This needs to be the last season we see Landry Jones in a Steelers uniform

Why? If the Steelers had any problems today it wasn't the backup QB.

agree. He was like 23/27 today without LB, AB and a multitude of oline starters.

He wasn't awful. He made some good throws, he also made some equally bad ones. He's a career backup and there is nothing wrong with that.

I would submit that he's probably better than a few starters in this league.

I thought Landry looked pretty good. He was poised and seemed to know what he was doing. He threw accurately. He threw the bad pick into coverage and gave up another fumble. Hubbard was sometimes not giving him good snaps in the shotgun. I wondered why he didn't go under center more. But this was one of his better performances.
