    Who cares about McCullers anyway!

If we ever got to a point where we needed him, who thinks he would be any sort of asset? The only place he might be an asset is in short-yardage, but he is such a shrinking violet, I doubt he would do anything in the playoffs when everyone else's intensity dials up more.

If we did cut him and we got to a point where we needed a reserve DL because someone in the rotation couldn't go (Cam, Tuitt, Hargrave, Alualu, LT), who feels more comfortable sticking his dumb@s$ in there, than just picking some other ham and egger off the street and just making the rest of the guys just play more minutes? I wouldn't.

The upside to keeping this scrub is nil, and the downside is letting a sentimental hero (and a guy who might at the least be a source of motivation) is huge. What, is McCullers going to step in and help stabilize our D, if we get to the point where we actually need him? He1l no.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

This is just a guess but I would say the Steelers care about McCullers

I had high hopes for the guy.. but just haven't seen anything worth getting excited about. You are right... he's the opposite of JH.

Have to agree with the above statements on Mcccullers but in the AFC championship game , if he could push back the middle of the pocket constantly on Brady in this one game.............

How much has McCullers played this season? I can't say I remember him pushing the pocket on anyone this season.

I hear you. But he does have the physical gifts to do it. But the motivation is the question. Maybe playing the Pats would be that key motivation for this one game.

he is a total waste of a roster spot

still waiting for all the experts here to make a case for his roster spot over Harrisons

Would it have made more sense to let Sensabaugh walk and move #29 into the defense? He may be raw but he's had a whole season and SensaBaugh was pretty bad the last game I remember seeing him.
