In case someone doesnt remember that NE drive
Brady to Gronk for 26 yards
Brady to Gronk for another 26 yards
Brady to Gronk for 17 yards

After Lewis is allowed to score
Brady to Gronk for the 2 pt conversion(single coverage)

Davis was covering on all 3 catches.
Putting a player in a position to continually fail is bad coaching my friends...SMH

I was not worried about that TBH. We are kind of built to replace a guy like AB. Yes, he's AB, but MB and JJSS are fully capable guys. I was worried about Haley getting conservative on that drive (which he did), and our D holding up (80 yards in like one minute, all to Gronk).
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

I agree 100%. Ben was having a great game but the ball was taken out of his hands in the 4th. Hopefully the game by Bryant is a sign of more to come. I was hoping they'd give him a shot at the end of the game. AB should come back rested at least. We've got a whole month til our first playoff game if we take care of business the next two weeks.

I’m literally sick over this one. From jubilation to numb. This is going to bother me for awhile. I never believed in “the fix” but I’m starting to come around.

what sucks even worse is the fact that we put ourselves in that situation at the end... Should have iced the game with that drive with 3 minutes left.

I'm still kind of numb. But the Steelers were missing AB and Haden. And both will be back from the playoffs. Despite that, this game came down to a BS call and then an INT on a play that could have easily been PI. They didn't win, but I think the Steelers proved to themselves that they could beat NE. And if they meet again, I truly believe that they will.

AB and Haden will likely be back, but who else goes down between now and then? Impossible to know... what I do know is, unless NE gets upset in the next few weeks, the road to the SB in the AFC is going through NE.

We have a better record on the road than we do at home...

We should have AB, Haden, McDonald, and Gilbert back for a possible rematch. Then again they were missing Hogan. I feel good about a possible rematch. Then again KC has beaten the Pats once already up there. I'll be a big Buffalo fan next week.

                            I missed that post.
Was it in the “call the score” thread?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

                            TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

We can throw "All of that" out the window against NE. We had the game in the bag last night, and found a way to blow it. Next time we see them (AFCC) it'll be on a much bigger stage, and likely at their place..

A stage that NE is used to being on... I just hope "The moment" is not too big for our guys. It really was last year at their place.

We didn’t “find” a way to blow it...it was forced upon us...
